We were quoted for work, we accepted the quote and gave a 50% deposit. Dan cashed the check immediately upon leaving our home. Work was to begin on the following Monday. We started receiving excuse after excuse that Monday. After weeks of excuses we were able to get an actual truth from Dan Barnes. He told us that he had never purchased our materials. We asked for our money back ($ 525.00) and he told us he didn’t have it. Said he would be willing to work off the money with his labor. We declined. Fast forward one year and we STILL don’t have our money. We have since moved and no longer own the home in question and Mr Barnes says he would offer us a 2005 Ford van in exchange for the deposit. We declined. We simply want our money back that he stole from us knowingly. RUN — DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!
