received a call from Massage Envy at 10:27 a.m. this morning stating I had an appointment today at 10 a.m. I informed them I was not aware and I did not receive a call the day before to confirm. I was told a call was placed but it the phone was busy… I would think it would have attempted or been prompt to call back if this was the case. After discussing with the Manager she informs me this was a courtesy call and they still expect the appointment to proceed if not cancelled and I will be charged for the hour and a half massage. I completely understand about policies however if I was not aware of an appointment for today!!! Previously I loved my experience at this location however within the last month that has changed due to the recent event and I will be cancelling my membership. My suggestions for Massage Envy if your automated service states the call was placed but it was busy have it to try again or have on of your employees to follow up. Also, when a member schedules an appointment verify if any of their information has charged especially medical.

Horrible service. I scheduled a massage and someone from the store call me at the last minute to tell me the therapist did not show. I was upset but things happend. I call again to reschedule and they told me I did not have a massage because I did not show for the previous massage. I called the store to cancel my contract and they said I would have to come in and do it because it automatically renews. When I got to the store the front rep told me I have to do it 30 days before the last payment. I specifically called about cancelling last month and they didn’t say that. Another person signing up said that wasn’t explained either. Then another person said it’s in your contract. Very deceitful selling. STAYAWAY!

Don’t go to this location. Terrible service and they like to charge for services they didnt even provide. I booked an appointment for my mother to get a deep tissue massage and a foot scrub for her birthday. I took her, paid for everything so she wouldn’t have to worry about anything and my sister picked her up. When I got home I asked about her massage and she said the deep tissue massage was very disappointing, they don’t massage you the full hour and it felt like she was just rubbing the oil on her. I asked about the foot scrub and she told me that there was no foot scrub done at all. I’m very disappointed in this location. Hopefully other massage envys aren’t this bad

Please be careful with this establishment… Owner called to straighten out dispute. Evidently, dates on my paperwork didn’t match what I was told when signing cancel forms. I believed the employee helping me. Legally, I signed a form that had different dates than what was verbally be told to me. I suggested she pull camera and audio from that day but she didn’t acknowledge either way if she would or not. It became clear that the notes the employees keep in the system do not match the actual phone messages they leave. I will keep all my voicemails from them in case owner would like to refer to them. Owner made offer to re-establish membership for 30 days so I could use the remainder of my unused massages if I signed paperwork and paid the monthly fee. Accepted the offer. I received another phone call during dinner with her screaming at me about my «scathing» social media review(that I had made prior to her calling me the first time) was told be that she wouldn’t complete the offer due to it. Not surprised. Bottom line … Look closely at the small print. Make sure you know the cancellation policies and all details, if a staff member tells you something make sure the paperwork matches. Added a star because I appreciated the manager(I had to ask to speak with the owner) calling back to try to explain what had happened. However, I still feel that I wasn’t treated in a professional and honest manner. Legally, they didn’t not have to offer me the remainder of my massages. I totally understand this NIOW. However, i was treated with a healthy dose of details that didn’t match the voicemails from them which makes me question their system and integrity. Please know that all the relaxation you gain from your membership can be wiped out by a staff and owner once you decide to cancel. I have never written a negative review on social media. I don’t plan to in the future. I completely understand that there are times when disputes happen, But the greatness of a business lies in the ability of the owner to truly listen and make things right. Ps… Please sync the clock in the«relaxation room» with the notes in your system and with employee’s watches. I am sorry that I didn’t know there was a discrepancy between them. PSS… Your clients don’t always have time to have their session go later to make up for the session beginning later. They have jobs and a life that probably required a good bit of scheduling to take the time off in the first place. Treat them like their time is valuable… Because it is! Even their dinner time.

I had a sore neck from a recent auto collision and came here for get some massage therapy. Everything was clean and organized. It was a very relaxing experience. I love a good massage and I felt a lot better and more loose after coming here. The customer service was fantastic and everyone was very attentive. I’m sure I’ll be back.

The first massage I received after signing up for the yearly contract was awful! The next month I requested someone else, and it was like a 5 year old slapping lotion on me and she smelled so bad! And rude, sat I a roller chair the entire time and rolled around me pumping lotion on me. GROSS! She also shorted me 20 minutes out of my hour, and did the management do anything! Nope, still had to pay for third crappy service. I no longer wanted to come back and they still take money out of my card! Don’t get their memebership!

First visit, lots of paperwork, reviewed all with a consultant and then 15 min past my appt the massage specialist came to get me and started asking all the same questions. She was not friendly and I got a bad vibe over whole experience so I left. Manager called me to question the experience and told me they were charging me $ 50 for ‘cancelling same day’. I didn’t cancel, but instead had a bad experience– not the same! Manager said she would talk with owner and wanted me to ’ give them another chance’. It had been 2 full weeks and the manager never called me back– have to say I am not surprised! Won’t go back– cost me $ 50 for that??? You reallydidn’t address any of my concerns or the fact I never got a call back after the manager was to speak to the owner so I really don’t know what to think– just an I’m sorry you weren’t impressed? Really?

I do not live close but thought I could make it once a month to get a massage so I signed up and of course you have to do a year contract well I couldnt make it and they just continued to build up. I called to cancel and they said I had 30 days to use the remaining 6 sessions. Well If I could use them in a year how the heck can I use them in 30 days. So I tried I got it down to 3 sessions so I called and asked If I could extend it another 30 days so I wouldnt loose that money I had already paid and I was told NO sorry you will loose them in 5 days. Thanks alot for your help NOT!

Second visit from a year ago. Appointment at 7p. Arrived at 659 but finished with paperwork by 7:03. Waited in waiting room until therapist came to get me about 4 minutes. She introduced herself asked me about trouble spots and other concerns. Got a full body deep tissue massage lasting for 57 minutes. Good experience.(Wink, smile)

I have been a member for over 6 years at the Arlington location. I live in Cedar Hill and had an additional massage at this location. The massage therapist was Arla and she was great. She used the perfect pressure. The place was nice and clean. The décor was great. Someone left hair in the sink. I suggest that’s checked more often. I would also recommend bottled water not that little cup. It was a great massage. I will return to this location again for Arla, in fact I scheduled a facial and massage for my husband.

The hours are great here. I enjoyed the décor, very relaxing. My hubby and I went and was able to enjoy a couples massage but still experienced privacy. I am an advocate for taking care of yourself. The staff was very friendly and because this is a membership program, you don’t feel pushed to get a membership. They handle it in a way that is very tactful. They were very attentive. We were pleased with the therapy but would have liked it to last a little longer. I brought up to management that the session was 60 minutes but it was cut off at 50 minute marker. Overall I was pleased, I signed up for a membership here as I was a member in Grand Prairie for 2.5 years and only canceled because I needed to finish college and pay for it :).
