I live in Glenn Heights and must have missed any advertising that might have been done in my area as I didn’t know that Cedar Hill had a Firehouse Subs now. I ordered the Steak and Cheese on white bread with grilled peppers and onions, deli mustard and mayo with salt and pepper. The meat was well seasoned, perhaps a little chewy, and the peppers and onions were good. So was the bread. I would leave off the mayo, though, it obliterated the taste of any provolone cheese. I have had better and I have had much worse. Their menu sounds wonderful! I will be back.

Subs Are Outstanding But I’m Not Happy With The staff in cedar hill. Sit down to enjoy a nice meal and your host is walking around with his shorts down around his knees. Who wants to sit with his wife to enjoy a meal like that?

Though Firehouse Subs is a national chain, they actually manage to put together some pretty decent sandwiches. Think of them as a much nicer Subway, with higher quality meats and cheeses. And as their name alludes to, sandwiches are served warm with a selection of over 20 hot sauces. I’ve visited locations in other states so I’m happy to see one close to home! My problem with this location is that they are comically slow. I’ve been there on several occasions and have averaged about a 5 –10 minute wait for my sandwich. On my most recent visit, I was the only person there and STILL had a substantial wait. I ordered, looked at the chip selection, took my toddler to the restroom and when I returned to the counter they had not even started on my sandwich. Once they work their timing out, they should be good to go, but for now, I would avoid them if you are in a rush.

Food is good, but customer service is not that great. Also the service is very slow. Very disappointed in kids meal it was an itty bitty sandwich with a itty bitty rice krispie treat. I might has ell gotten my child an adult meal. How can the kids meal not include chips.

So glad they made it here to Cedar Hill. First time going and I’m hooked. Love this place. Enough said…

Without a doubt one of the finest tasting sub sandwich I have ever had. Everything was just right; the bread, the coleslaw, the dressing all came together to creat a delightful meal. My wife was equally pleased with her offering and we pledge many return visits. Can recommend the Hawaiian pulled pork and the turkey cranberries.

Not quite what I expected but delicious nonetheless a place similar to that of Quiznos, Subway, etc. A sub sandwich shoppe with offerings of both hot and cold chips and desserts. Reasonably priced. Worth a second visit. :)
