Top notch service. Devin listened to what I wanted, made a few suggestions, and produced a fabulous result. The atmosphere is professional and cheerful. I really appreciated the Keurig coffee they offered. My daughter had her hair done too and was looking for a big reduction in length. Cindy was sensitive to her nervousness and created a very polished look. We plan on returning for sure.

So sorry, but the lady that cut my hair did not have it! Some how, whatever she did made all my hair want to hang in my face! She said she knew the art of cutting curly hair. So few, do.
Nice lady, kept saying she had 34 years experience and kept me listening. I think while she was talking I didn’t pay attention and she must have used some kind of shears or something that has damaged and frayed the ends of my hair so it is constantly frizzed out.
I had beautifully conditioned hair in need of a trim and now I need a bit of a grow out and a cut!
Oh well, live and learn! It’s only hair!
I’m sure Pam can cut hair very well but is definitely not the curly hair specialist she portrayed herself to be.

From the second I called for an appointment, they offered exceptional customer service. Susan was so wonderful at helping to guide me to the proper cut. She really listened for the style I was looking to accomplish and really delivered. Out of an impromptu visit, they’ve gained a loyal customer. I can’t wait to see what she can do with color!

I went there today with lowered expectations. I spent last 14 years in OC, the only place I lived in this country, so being new to the mountains and not knowing what to expect, I was cautious choosing one of 3 places to go to that don’t involve driving an hour down the mountain. I picked them because of the Unilocal reviews.
And I will be coming back every 6 weeks for as long as I live here! Cindy was great! She picked my color perfectly, and hair cut as well. I used to think that Toni&Guy was a safe choice no matter what city or country, but she just showed me today what mistakes last person did on my hair. I loved the evaluation, explanation, choices, result, and the real person to chat with too :-)

Raving review for Cindy at Cardinale Salon! My sister and I were in Lake Arrowhead visiting and we really wanted a haircut. We were totally difficult customers — both of us had thick, waist-​length hair and no idea what we wanted to do with it. Cindy fit us in same day and was very generous with her time to make sure both of us loved the outcomes. I’ve never had a regular hairstylist because I’ve had such hit or miss experiences but Cindy was able to create a nice, age-​appropriate cut (my sister is 21 and I’m 26) that made my hair feel and look great!
I referred my mom who lives nearby the salon. She has been cutting her own hair for years because of the difficulty she had in finding someone attentive enough to cut her thick and curly hair. When she came home from the salon she couldn’t stop smiling! She keeps commenting on how great it feels. Three happy customers who will definitely be back for an appointment with Cindy!

Wow, AMAZING service the moment we walked in. My boyfriend asked for a special haircut for an upcoming event (he’s a keyboard player) and Susan worked MAGIC on his hair! We were sooooo pleased with her skill, her awesome, playful attitude, and the price. I definitely recommend her! Nice place, too, super clean.

I recently moved to Lake Arrowhead and was having a hard time finding a place to go to for my hair. I had gone down the mountain and had my hair done, but didn’t like how it was growing it. So I decided to make an appointment with Pam at Cardinale Salon to get my hair colored and get rid of the ombré look that I wasn’t digging anymore. I was lucky that I was able to see her the day before Christmas. When I arrived, I barely had to wait for my appointment which was nice. Pam did a great job matching color to my natural hair color so that I could grow out the ombré blonde color. My hair turned out great and I will definitely be returning when it is time to touch up my color and/​or hide those grays.

My ONLY bitch is that it can be very difficult to get an appointment with Christopher Cardinale. He is booked well in advance, seriously. I had heard it was worth the wait and, frankly I a, m not a patient person but I am really glad I waited. I am now, OFFICIALLY, sexy!
Love my hair, the color, the body. Love it! I wanted to go a little crazy with the color but he chose a more toned down, classier color. I love it.
He also did a brazilian blow out which I wasn’t sure of but I thought I would try it. It isn’t exactly what I had in mind, I admit. I do have to say, I think my hair is better with THIS than what I actually thought I was getting.
Christopher, of course is really professional.
There was another cray cray customer there (I won’t go into details) and the staff was really professional.
I do advise, get your appointment as early as possible. It can take forever to get in, like for me, almost a month out.
I love my hair though! I can’t eat carbs with THIS hair! (gasp!)

My wife and I spent our anniversary at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa. Upon check-​in we were informed the salon was unavailable for several days, so we ventured out of town and came across Cardinale Salon. Pam was the only one there and gave us a late appointment. My wife wanted to cut her hair super short and I needed a simple trim. We both loved the service. Pam basically read our minds and gave us both the perfect cut. I wish I had a regular stylist like her. If we ever return to Arrowhead it will be to visit Pam at Cardinale Salon. THANKS from Mr & Mrs Ghods!!!

Caidie Raymond has been doing my hair for a while now. When she made Cardinale’s her new home, I moved right with her. I have never waited for an appointment when I arrive, Caidie is always on time and that is a very important thing for me. I hate showing up and waiting around after my appointment time. She performs excellent coloring and my hair is the healthiest it has been in many years. The receptionist are always pleasant and the salon is warm and welcoming. I give an A+ to Cardinale Salon and Caidie Raymond!!!

Simply THE BEST. I live in Los Angeles and have a vacation house in Lake Arrowhead. Now, I no longer go anywhere in Los Angeles for my hair. Christopher does a better cut and color than any pricey salon in Bevelry Hills. Thank you Christopher!

I love the Cardinal salon! I have been coming here for over the past threes years and couldn’t imagine getting my hair done by anyone else other then Chrisopher. Even with a recent move that makes my drive time close to a hour but its definitely worth it! Amazing staff and adore the ambiance. Best place around.

No need to search elsewhere, Cardinale Salon is a class act! I had my first color/​cut with Christopher yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier. The salon is wonderful, cozy, and inviting, and everyone working here is professional and friendly. If you’re looking for quality professionals who take pride in their craft and listen to what you want, then this is the place to go. I will continue to be a loyal customer and refer others.

I am a creature of habit when it comes to my hair. I don’t change my cut often and have gone to the same salon for 10 years. But I just moved and needed my hair done. Chris, the salon owner, is young, hip and very knowledgeable about cuts and color.
While I said I would get a trim he gently suggested I look through a few hair books just to see if there was anything I liked. Long story short, Chris gave me a new look, the best I ever had, and it was exactly what he said he would do. I’m so happy I found him. When I put a photo of me with my new hair on FB I had over 50 comments! Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been here twice and its really nice, decorated really cool. My favorite part: the neck rests on the sinks are super comfortable (5 stars for the sinks!!!)!
Both women I saw were good, but not great enough to return to. I have heard great things about Chris, but I always end up going in last minute and can’t get an appointment with him!
I gave it 3 stars because the vibe in here felt a bit tense and gossipy. The receptionist was giggling, at one point I saw one stylist lean over and whisper to someone for a long time, and just in general I felt a bit uncomfortable!
Other than that, they carry KMS which is an awesome product and they have an excellent retail selection!
