–mattress was hard as a rock. I had to bring in cushions from my van. The front desk person explained it was because they were new. Sounds like someone chinced out mattresses.

Hotel itself was just OK… friendly staff… uncomfortable bed… fire alarm went off at 6 a. m…we all evacuated. Found out from the Fire Department that when the toaster oven was turned that morning there was an old piece of bread in it — if that tells you anything. Would I stay here again? Nope…

We stayed at this hotel for one night in August while driving home from vacation. I made the reservation only two hours before we arrived to check in. The room had two queen size beds which were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and had a good supply of towels and amenities. The hotel was quiet as we didn’t hear people in the hallways or rooms. The pool and spa area is very nice and was equipped with a lift chair for guests that may have physical disabilities. Also, the pool is closed to kids after 11pm which makes for a quieter time for older adults. We were on the third floor and the Wi-​Fi seemed a little slow at times. Also, pets are not allowed here. Breakfast was very good and had the usual choices. One thing, I noticed when we checked out was that goodie bags were on the front desk. In the bag was a bottle of water, granola bar, muffin and an apple. I assume these were for guests who didn’t have time for breakfast and they could take the bag with them to eat on the road. This was a very nice touch of the management. I would have no problem staying at this hotel again if passing through Cedar Falls again.

Nice hotel, great location as it’s close to the University of Northern Iowa. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Continental breakfast better than most.

Food choices were good but the French toast was very hard from sitting in the stereo too long

Very nice hotel, has a pool and hot tub. My room had a king size bed, flat screen tv, mini-​fridge, microwave. The bathroom was very large, great water pressure for the shower. I got into town around noon and my room was ready so i was able to check in right away. My trip got cut short one day and although i told them at 4:00 p.m. they said no problem and didnt charge for for that night. Only complaint was that the wifi wasnt really that strong in my room. The breakfast was ok, the one day there was eggs and potatos, and they were really good.
