Miss your Mom? Want to feel loved, well fed and taken care of? You had better come to this place, it’s only a short hop off of Hwy 71. Greeted at the door by a beautiful lady with hugs to go all around, she skips the menu and carefully explains to you what she will prepare for you, fresh and on the spot. We had pork chops, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, mac and cheese, the best fried catfish ever experienced, homemade tartar sauce, hand-cut fries, homemade coleslaw and topped it off with pineapple cobbler. Don’t come here in a hurry and don’t come here on a diet, but do come here hungry and looking for an amazing Southern home-cooked meal served up in a cozy, homey atmosphere. They told us we would leave feeling like family and we did! We love you and we’ll be back.

Stopped by to have a quick bite. Had the pork chop sandwich and my MIL had the catfish nugget basket. Everything was really good. Home cooked food at its best. Such a hidden gem. I will be back

I have never experienced anything like this before. I happened to find Haley daïs on Unilocal, and called them on a whim bc Unilocal said it was closed but I thought it might be a mistake since most restaurants don’t close on Sunday. The owner picked up and said that they were in fact closed, but come on in and let her know when I would be there and what I felt like eating. Where in the world can you encounter service like that nowadays?! I saw a picture of the chicken and waffles and the pork chop so that’s what I decided to go with. Holy cow. If you’ve ever been to the famous breakfast klub in Houston, then you should know what real chicken and waffles should taste like. Haley daïs was just as delicious, with no wait, cheaper prices, and the friendliest customer service I’ve ever had in my life. The pork chop was also fantastic. I would definitely make the trek from Austin to cedar creek for these two dishes alone anytime. Thank you to the wife and husband team of this amazing café.

While waiting for my car inspection at Auto Cycle, next to Haley Daïs Café on Hwy. 21 in Cedar Creek. A very sweet woman handed me a menu and invited me to see their new café. I was on a lunch break and ordered a hamburger and fries to go. Back to work and ready to have lunch, wolf down the burger and get back to work. I opened the wrapped burger, didn’t look like your everyday drive-thru burger. The bun looked to be homemade, topped with a grilled slice of jalapeño pepper. I’ll slow down to enjoy this good looking burger before getting back to work. It was flavored and cooked to perfection. Must say the best I ever had. Thought maybe it’s a fluke and surely not everything from Haley Daïs Café could be as good as that heavenly hamburger. Now after a few months and having had the Catfish with collard greens and pan fried corncakes. BBQ brisket and ribs with the best pinto beans and potato salad top it off with 7up cake. My love for the warmth and kindness of Haley Daïs Café. Seven of my dear friends and family drove all the way from Austin to Cedar Creek to join me at Haley Daïs Café. With the busy days of rushing, aggression, and sometimes not so friendly world, it’s truly a loving environment at Haley Daïs Café. As Haley Daïs Café website says, «Food from the Heart.»

This place serves some awesome food! The service couldn’t be better and the owner makes you feel like you’ve stopped by for a family gathering! If you’re lucky, you’ll come at the right time to catch some great music as well!

RIBS! My daughter gasped as we drove home from school asking if today was Friday. When I said it was, she cried«YES! It’s Fired Up Friday!» How you can you resist that? We both had the ribs(our favorite) and beans and potato salad — all delicious! The owner is super friendly and always makes us feel at home. It’s a great place to stop for breakfast and lunch, too. You can never go wrong with good home cookin’!
