Terrific coffee, they had dark roast that actually WAS dark roast. Super comfy place to sit with your laptop or friend while eating great baked goods and drinking swell coffee.

We love the atmosphere here. .. It’s connected to a cool small bookshop. There are comfy arm chairs to kick back in and enjoy your coffee. The baked goods are all a nice accompaniment to the coffee — and they feature a nice selection of syrups to flavor your cappuccino or latte. The only downside is the early closing hours.

This place is just«OK» in my opinion. We walked in and didn’t get greeted by anyone and were left wandering the menu. Obvious we hadn’t been there before. When my boyfriend and I finally decided we ordered. He got a frozen hot chocolate and I got a white hot chocolate. I also got a cookie. Then the waiting came… it wasn’t busy at all maybe 4 people already seated and drinking/eating. It took 15 mins for two drinks! I was annoyed at this point. We sat down and drank our drinks. My white hot chocolate tasted decent but was mainly hot milk. My boyfriends frozen hot chocolate was«ok» but we have had better. The cookie was again just«ok». It reminded me of one you would find on a banquet party platter. The décor was a bit odd. Kind like someone decided to open a coffee shop with all the crap they could find in their basement. I want impressed. I do like how it is connected to the bookstore. It gives it a very coffee shop feel. The biggest problem I had was that the place didn’t offer free wifi!!! What kind of coffee shop does that?! I’ll probably be back eventually but not in the near future. I hope to try some of the actual food next time. For now, I’ll stick to starbucks

All of their pasteries are great. The coffees ate all really good and they always make it right. The sandwivhes are also really good. The only problem in really have is that they are so expensive. They are a coffee shop directed towards college students and they are just add expensive as Starbucks.

Cool coffee shop. Definitely has the small college town feel to it. I didn’t have coffee but did have their Thai Tea frappé which was very good. Also bought the apple berry tart which was great. Really flakey crust and perfect tasting fruity tart center.

After several visits, I’m ready to offer a review of the coffee house. First, the coffee. I’m a purist. No frapa-whatever’s for this guy. Make it fresh and hot, and I’m good. This place does that pretty good if you want a plain«cup of joe» it’s decanted in from thermos pampers. A disappointment though… no ceramic mugs… it’s all paper cups. And no refills, those are $ 0.80 The menu has lots of coffee treats and sandwiches & sweets, they look good, but I haven’t tried. The place is very large, with a walk– through to an adjacent book store. Lots of tables and overstuffed chairs. Free, but slow, wifi. It’s a decent place to have a quick meeting or chat. Overall, it’s pretty good… And I plan on frequenting.

The coffee is average(Starbucks quality), the atmosphere is very cool and trendy. Looks like this is the new hangout for college kids and tourists. I gave it 3 stars because I had to stand in line for 10 minutes to order, no table for my family of five to sit at, garbage cans were overflowing and the self-serve ice water and coffee were empty. Could be a cool place to hang but they were definitely understaffed on our visit.

Overall happy with this coffee shop. The firehouse sand which is delicious and very spicy. The coffee is good, not great. Their Americano is my favorite. The setting is ideal, plenty of space and tons of places to sit and relax.

This remains the best place in town for a meet and greet. It has good food and drink, reasonable prices and atmosphere.

A total local hang-out, or so it seems. There were tables for dining, a couch area for lounging, a random piano, and a huge dining table where there was a bunch of ladies knitting. The seating area with the couches actually reminded me of Central Perk from Friends. Needless to say, plenty of seating! Service was lacking a little friendliness, which I have come to expect at mom and pops for whatever reason. They also have a huge selection of drinks from coffees to smoothies. Breakfast sandwich choices weren’t plentiful, but enough to make you stand for an extra minute to decided. I had a ham and swiss croissant with a matcha latte. Overall, not too bad, just don’t expect anything super fancy.

Good coffee and good breakfast. Recommended. We had a truck trailer and there is room on the side street and behind the restaurant. If you’re lucky maybe even out front. Worth the stop if you need something fast and good. For the drink got a blended frappé with moca and 2 shoots we was awesome. For breakfast I went with bananas and chocolate chips with syrup and waffle. Got food in under 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful even when I forgot to get my cash in the truck.

I can’t in good conscious give a good rating for an establishment who decides to raise their prices and not change them on the overhead menu. No noting it anywhere, just charged extra and had to ask why. 20% increase in prices should afford them paying an employee to change the sign. Coffee is decent. Ibis is typically good in milk based drinks, okay in espresso. Shots were lacking crema.

Coffee: ok, not really good, not really bad. My wife had a mexican mocca which was really good Location: cosy, some old fashioned furniture in a industrial style room. Next to it there is a bookstore. There is also art from local artist on the wall. Staff: nice, children friendly Resume: nice for a city like cedar city. I did not expect it to be so nice and we spend some nice hours here

I am from out of town and this was my first time here. The place is good size with ample seating and a cozy and comfortable feel. They have a decent sized menu for drinks, sandwiches and desserts. I mentioned to the girl working the counter that I was from out of town and it is my first time. With that being said you would think the people working there would try and make the first visit a good one. The first visit wasn’t a bad one but could have been better. The girl was good as far as explaining the drinks to me and how they could be made. After I ordered my coffee, I went back to the counter and asked for 2 espresso shots in my coffee. Menu said shots were 75 cents a life. She rings me up and says that will $ 2.36. Last I checked 75 + 75 = 150. She asks another girl how she goes about ringing up 2 extra espresso shots. The two are sitting there trying to figure it out and I said why don’t you just ring up two espresso shots at 75 cents a piece. When I get my coffee, I go to pick it up and the lid wasn’t on all the way and came off and the foam came running down the side of the cup and all over the counter. The girl says to The guy who made the drink(Marco) that he didn’t put the lid on all the way. Marco comes over and snaps the lid on and foam comes flying out of the lid and also runs down the side of the cup and he says there you go and goes to making another drink leaving foam all down the sides of my cup and counter. I just kinda looked at him kind of irritated but kept it cool and collected and politely asked if he had a towel and he never even said anything and the girl quickly grabbed a couple of paper towels for me and really apologized. I just want to tell Marco, keep up the attitude like that and a coffee shop is the only place you will be working. This place is really nice and relaxing but it wasn’t the ideal first time visit. We’ll have to see how the next visit goes the next time I’m here if I decide to stop here again.

The orchestrates of coffee shop bliss have conspired to combine all of the most universally loved coffee shop features into one humble building… and they placed it in Ceder City, Utah. Competent baristas… Tons of space… A chalk board full of drink & food choices… All sorts of seating options… PLUGINSEVERYWHERE… Live music venue… Attached to a local bookstore… Lightening fast wi-fi… Not to mention the perfect amount of «hip» to require a standard of quality, without the often associated coffee-snob feel that makes me want to burn all my flannels and throw my bike away. I have searched far and wide and to put it simply, this place is second to none. Whether your writing the next Great American Novel or slurping frozen sugar with friends– this is the place to be.

Not sure how to rate this place since I came for a chai tea latte and the man said it would be the best I ever had… but it was awful, however the place itself was awesome with its décor and spacious seating area with lots of comfy options. We only came in to get a drink and get back on the road and thats when I noticed the Chai tea was thick like sweetened cream and the drink it self was way to sweet. It was too hot to take a sip while walking out and by the time we were in the car I figured I wasn’t going to even bother if thats the way they make it and it was from a concentrate(which he said it was when I asked) they couldn’t have made it better anyway. Sad to think thats what they think is good Chai. All in all this place had potential we had already eaten but the menu looked promising. So for my experience I will have to give it a 2 star since I was highly disappointed in the only think I really wanted.

I love random coffee shops. Since we were visiting Cedar City I had to check this place out. I found it when we were down the street shopping. An ice coffee was just what I needed. As far as décor goes lots of miss matched chairs and tables. They do have a large stage that looks perfect for bands or a poetry night. The Grind also connects to the book store next door. I wanted to like the coffee here, but it just wasn’t very good. I ordered my normal ice coffee and it tasted burnt. We went back a second time(thinking maybe it was a bad batch) and it still tasted burnt. They do have a large food menu that sounded good. If we are in Cedar City again I might try something off their food menu. As far as coffee is concerned I’d skip it. The staff was friendly. Just to bad about the coffee.
