Tops Cazenovia

Quite easily among the worst grocery stores you will have the misfortune of shopping at. This place is almost always in a filthy condition, the produce section is disgusting. I don’t know how they can legally sell some of the produce that they have on the floor. It is repugnant, i.e. the apples are pruning and old, the bananas are either crunchy or bruised and soft, the bakery is nothing but high sugar content offerings, the «seafood» department is a horrifying joke (old farmed salmon, even older cod or whitefish), the meat section is full of pretty unhealthy offerings, and the «health food» section is the size of a postage stamp and filled with very suspect goods.
As if this wasn’t all bad enough, the check out help (with a couple of exceptions) is a combination of chinless, mouth breathing hillbilly women or clueless older teens who feel that customers are there for them, not the other way around.
This place is shameful, a true hillbilly miserable grocery store.

Customer service is lacking, product selection is weak, and prices are high. The only thing this Tops has going for it is convenience if you live in the Caz area.
Do yourself a favor and go to Wegman’s for a better selection and better prices.

This tops is heading down hill. Things are not getting stocked and a lot of products are missing or on the floor. This is not the tops I know of, I would rather go to the one in Fayetteville.

Meh, another remodeled Tops. I basically feel the same way about this one as info about my home store in Fayetteville. Check that review for all its gloriousness that is Tops grocery shopping.
However, Caz is a one horse town for groceries, so it’s as good as it gets.
