Have been using this meat market for a while… best ground chuck and stew meat around… usually have to ask them to cut my steaks because I want them a bit thick and with all the flavor (fat) left on my steaks… which the butchers do with a smile… great place!

Fattiest fillets I’ve ever seen. But they grilled up delicious. Walked in and told the guy I’d never been in and wanted to get a couple of big fillets. Paid $ 30 for 2, $ 15.95/lb. Got home and inspected them. Wow, full of fat! I was pissed. Then the test. Grilled them on high heat till medium rare and they were outstanding. I’ll def go back, but next time I’ll be looking closer at the cuts before I pay.

This place has a small selection. Reasonable prices. Have purchased steaks here twice and both times they were some of the worst steaks I have ever eaten. The steaks were obviously old and tasted awful but the butcher swore they were fine. I also bought some seasoned bacon wrapped pork chops and they were bland. Customer Service was good and so was the onion sausage. However, a butcher that doesn’t provide good quality steak and pork chops is not very good might as well buy from Wal-​Mart and get a good tasting steak.

I used to go out for steak. NO MORE! Thanks to this little gem of a place. They have the best cuts of meat I’ve ever purchased. The prices are reasonable for such great cuts and the staff has always been courteous. We always get a filet and a ribeye. The meat has always been tender and flavorful. 5 stars!
