Horrible buffet for ten bucks and not even a drink included. Seven feathers cheaper and better than this. Asked to at least get half my money back cause had to go somewhere else to eat cause food was so bad. They wouldn’t even give me 5 bucks back. Horrible horrible horrible

Stopped in here on a road trip, the pie was great! They has their own root beer which was good as well. I had a couple pieces of fried chicken it was ok not the best. I would come back for the pie if i was in the area!

Pizza was good! Its cut party style, which worked well for our group… besides you have no idea that you have eaten 20+ slices! The beer was good, the house made root beer was outstanding… only problem I had, was that they charged almost $ 70 for a large«combo» type pizza and a large half cheese/half pepperoni and some beers… I guess good food aint cheap! :)

Excellent pizza here. Ive eaten here a number of dozen times over the past 10 years and the pizza has always been good. Excellent local beer selection as well.

I went here(Cave Junction) for the first time today and it was by far the most disgusting pizza I have ever had. $ 14 for a medium cheese pizza is a fair price if the quality of food is good. Friendly staff but unbelievably poor excuse for pizza, I also wished they asked me before cutting the pizza into so many little diamond shapes, I like pizza cut like pizza.

I have yet to have a bad experience here. My buddies and I come here for 2 – 3 reasons. The pizza, the beer, and mic nights on Wednesdays. I’ll start with the pizza. Delicious. Different. It is cut up in odd diamond shapes other than slices(which is kinda fun I think. Im sure its a helpful way to portion for kids or a big group) I usually get the Blue Moon pizza, and its really good. I keep coming back to it :) Now the beer. Lets just say I dropped my usual beer for the Wild River IPA. And its the only beer we drink now. A good thing about it(other than the great taste) its locally brewed, you can bring back your empty bottles for a refund(and a discount on more beer if you want) and it doesnt take much to get you feeling good. So the price? Pretty good.(6.7ALC by VOL, & about $ 28 a case) Mic night. If you sit and listen to the talent some people have, it really brings a good energy. Probably a little too much country western style for me, but sometimes its spiced up with some music I’m more into. Still, a very good experience. I havent tried the salad bar yet. The staff always seems very pleasant, which is a big thing for me. The only thing I would really fix if I could is how long it takes to get your pizza. Anywhere from 15 – 25 minutes depending on how busy it is. But hey… its really good pizza. Try the Blue Moon!

We ate at Wild River Saturday evening, partly from nostalgia(I used to go there long ago, when it was Miller’s Shady Oaks pizza) and partly because they had gluten-free and vegan options(suitable for my sweetheart). The choice of toppings was perhaps even broader than usual for pizza joints, the salad bar was decent, and the beers(Wild River on tap plus others) were interesting and numbered close to a dozen. The atmosphere was casual(long benches) with a strong feel of groups of friends gathering for celebration. We enjoyed the food, and could converse easily even while enjoying the live music in the next room. All in all it was a very pleasant evening. The next day, 100 miles down the road, I realized I had left my debit card at the restaurant! I called the restaurant, talking to the manager, who had found the card on the floor. She kindly agreed to mail the card to me, saving me a ton of work, and it was in my mailbox when we returned from our trip. Thank you, Wild River manager! In summary, the food was very good, the atmosphere relaxed, and the service top notch.

Why is this wild river so dirty? Why do the fries taste like 5 day old chicken grease? Why was the pizza mangled into 1000 little greasy squares? How do they stay open? Who eats here and thinks this is worth going back? Why is west coast pizza catching such a bad reputation? The healh department could do us all a favor and condemn this filthy back alley slum. You’d be better off not eating anything than get the stomach cramps.

This place(in Cave Junction) is a sad excuse for the Wild River name. It was absolutely disgusting inside. Smelled of dirty feet and homeless people. The customer service was the poorest I’ve ever experienced. They don’t wait on you. You have to stand in a line and order and then listen thru the crowd as your number is called. They didn’t even have a beer menu. How are people suppose to know what kind of beers they want? Not only was my pizza made wrong, it wasn’t even cooked in a fire stove like they do in Grants Pass. It tasted microwaved:(When we asked for ranch, we were directed to the salad bar to «fetch» our own cups of ranch. I about slapped that girl for saying that. I walked over to get ranch to see a child sticking his fingers in it and licking them. I was just so appalled! I’ll never recommend that place. It doesn’t even deserve one star!

We ate here twice during my stay in Grants Pass. The first time we shared a small Blue Moon Pizza and it was AMAZING. That pizza alone is what brought us back a second time. We decided to try something new when we went back so we once again shared a small Pesto Pizza. it wasn’t as good as the Blue Moon but was still very tasty. On the second time around we both got salads from the salad bar. There were a lot of options and we were both happy with our salad creations. We did try any beers because we were driving but they did look yummy as well.

Good place for a break on 199 between CCity and GPass. I’m a serious calzone fan, Wild River makes a fine stromboli instead. Excellent substitute with all your selected fresh meat and veggie goodies rolled and cooked up nicely inside the savory pie, flavor is on point and outer dough cooked crisp. House beers here are a fine accessory, IPA matches pie well. Nice deck outside to enjoy your strom and suds when weather works.

We stopped here thinking it would be like the wild river in Medford… wrong! When we entered we were not greeted by anyone stood there for a good 60 seconds and looked at what appeared to be a dirty old man bar not a restaurant. It was dark dirty looking there were very few windows would be a better location for a gogo bar. As we stood there staring at the wait staff ignoring us we could plainly see all that was available was beer and pizza cooked by some dirty looking Lad in the kitchen. Would not recommending eating here unless you’re a well known to the staff perhaps a local with an iron gut and no taste buds. I wonder why the owners of the wild river allow this place to operate under their name it’s bad for their reputation and their other two restaurants. I would give this is 0 stars but Unilocal will not let me I have to give it one star to be able to post this

Heard this was THE place for pizza. Well, I hate to see the other place then. We ordered 3 to go and asked how long. 10 minutes. So we left the women folk there and me and my buddy headed off to buy some beer(wouldn’t you think a brewing company would have growlers or something). We returned and hadn’t got out pizzas yet so we sat and kt talking. After a while we started wondering where our pies were. I checked my watch and it had been 45 minutes. I went to the counter Nd asked and without saying a word the lady turned around and went to the back where she spoke with a cook and grabbed our three boxes off the counter where they had been presumably sitting for a half hour. She said, «sorry, it’s been a busy phone day.» And that was it. No here’s something for your trouble. Nothing. We got back to our place to eat and it was really pretty average pizza.

This place really rocks. I stopped in here with a friend and had a great pizza and a nice hand crafted micro brew that they make themselves. The dinning are is large and they have a patio on the side if you wish to eat outside. There is a corner with arcade games in it, which really gives this place an old pizza parlor feel to it. The pizza is quite good. I find it interesting how they cut the pizza into little diamond shaped pieces instead of the traditional pie slice. It really adds to the fun of eating a pizza.

I visit Grant’s Pass several time a year to see family and friends. We have chosen this restaurant many times to meet up with our larger groups. They accommodate large groups quite efficiently! I have only ever had their pizza and salad, but what I have had, has been quite good. I love their Taco Pizza! The service as always been consistently great.

Being born and raised in Chicago it is hard to find good pizza anywhere. This place does a great job of making a good pizza for Oregon. When I am in town I always like visiting her to eat.

When or if you are ever in Grants Pass you have to stop here. Excellent pizza. They will make it to your liking. I guess I should have added if they are still open. Haven’t been there for over a year.
