The pizza was pretty good. They cut it in a unique way… in a sort of grid fashion. It made each piece bite size. The staff was friendly enough and the service was prompt. However, it did get weird when many of the other older patrons kept staring at us for several minutes… either at me as a non-white person or at our family of blended race.

I have been visiting this place every time I pass through the state since I was a teenager and it had its original name of the Pizza Deli. It always delivers excellent toppings even if they cut their pies in diamond shapes. Well worth the trip.

I gave this place 4 stars. It would’ve been 5, but the customer service was a little bit lacking… when we first walked in, we were looking around and a lady that worked there kind of just pushed through us to get outside. Not the best first impression. The pizza was great and their specialty in house made root beer and orange cream soda was BOMBZO. SERIOUSLY, I think I drank my weight in it! I loved how they cut their pizza. It made it easy to sample each one. I would’ve liked for them to have told us how it was cut, however. They just weren’t that informative since we told them we had never been there. We ordered 2 largest for 7 people — 3 of them teenagers… and we took some to go!

Good service, great pizza. Nice porch outside when the weather is nice. Fun to try a new brew. Sizes are big, so medium was more like a large.

This has been, and always will be, my most favorite pizza. I grew up on this stuff, and it uses local meats, so an easy 4 stars. The prices continue to go up, and for such a small town, that is pretty extreme, but I get a pizza from here every time I come down to visit. If you don’t like the way they cut it into little diamond shapes, just tell them to cut it normal.

Great Pizza and great fried chicken and spuds. Not sure why but they have a place in Grants Pass and the pizza is nothing like the pizza in Cave Junction. Deli delight is just fantastic if you like meat toppings. its loaded, we do ask them to cook the pizza well done because we like a crispy this crust, but I do the same with Abbys. Try it sometime.

I went her for the first time today and it was by far the most disgusting pizza I have ever had. $ 14 for a medium cheese pizza is a fair price if the quality of food is good. Friendly staff but unbelievably poor excuse for pizza, I also wished they asked me before cutting the pizza into so many little diamond shapes, I like pizza cut like pizza.

KEEPGOING nothing worth eating in cave Junction! Not a single place is worth stopping. Trust what you know… Subway. Rays…:… If you see that little pizza food cart out front of chevron. They make great little pizza.

Really, really bad and overpriced pizza. The reviews were deceptive and wish we hadn’t stopped.

Great salad bar, pizza, beer & live music. The eight long & wide tables made from 3″ thick curly redwood are the most awesome sight in Cave Junction!

I saw this place had a high rating but Unilocal disappointed. Our fries were either breaded or so heavily fried that they were crusted. They were basically inedible. The mushrooms on my burger were canned. I could barely find the hamburg patty. I guess was ordering a burger at a pizza joint. The IPA was good and there was a local country duo singing which lent atmosphere to the family style rustic restaurant. There is outdoor seating too.

Wow did we have a treat tonight! Stopped tonight for some quick pizza and ended up with live music and wonderful food! The stromboli was AMAzing! We were a party of 8 And were served fast and loved all the pizzas. Love that they don’t add too much sauce and the sauce isn’t too sweet. And the toppings are on top, with the cheese underneath. They cut the pizza into little«diamonds» — most unique, and makes the pizza easier to handle. The music provided by Maurice Woodard, The One Man Band was amazing. His voice is beautiful and his range of music is outstanding! He was very lively and chatted/joked with everyone between songs. Takes requests! Loved our whole experience.

Great pizza and wonderful beer! It’s my usual lunch stop when heading towards the Oregon/California coast. They have a large selection of pizza and micro brews, and if pizza isn’t your thing, they have a salad bar and a sandwich menu.

All good reviews of 4 drafts from our party of nine — check out the specialty breads, on premise brewed root beer, bar be– que pizza. Pizza are traditional style or ingredients, but are delicious just the same. Very casual, friendly and comfortable. A game room for clild at heart and actual.

This definitely appeared to be the most popular place in town. And while we really enjoyed live music on a Saturday night and the mini-arcade, the pizza was only average. The restaurant is very basic and definitely set up for groups with long tables. Absolutely the kind of place where you would go with your kids’ sports team to celebrate a victory. Our biggest issue was choosing a pizza. It seemed to take us forever because many of their menu items were a bit odd. Next time I’ll probably just make my own, but it was strange considering the simple surroundings to have such irregular menu items. We ended up with their version of Hawaiian and Taco pizza and a basic cheese for the kiddos. A few things that stand out are the criss-cut pattern, rather than slices. It makes everything into nice two-bite sized pieces. And my favorite thing on the menu was their house made root beer($ 1.50, including refills). They have a brewery on-site and make both beer and root beer, which you can also purchase to-go. Mr. K enjoyed his local brew too. For a family meal, definitely one of the better options in Cave Junction.

I grew up in CJ, and«The Pizza Deli» was always a favorite. Great pizza and ingredients from a local sausage company. My dad and his friend always got a «Bait Bucket» pizza(I think it had shrimp, anchovies, oysters, etc). I’m not kidding, you could smell that thing coming. I’ll stick with the«Deli Delight,» thank you very much. :) Went back for the first time in over 25 years, and was happy to see the same favorites on the menu even though the business name has changed. Also happy to see they still cut the pizza the same unique way… cross-cut diamonds instead of the traditional pie slice. I always like trying new beers at local micro-breweries, and theirs were great! Nice job Wild River.

Usually, when I see that a place has their own beers on tap, two things run through my mind: 1. Awesome! 2. I wonder which ones are the good ones Between the two of us, we tried at least two thirds of them. These people make good beer. There was not one among them that I would not order again. They are all solid beers. We were prepared for pizza, until we saw that they had burgers. It seems bad to get burgers at a pizza place but sometimes you have to get what the tummy wants. I think they were good. We consumed them rather fast. The fries reminded me of the fries I used to get at pizza place that closed down when I was a kid. I cannot describe what memories taste like… it was a beautiful memory. If you want good memories, come here, order some food and a whole mess of any(or all) of their beer. Lots of TVs, arcade games, beautiful ceiling to get lost in, and the picnic bench seating provides an excellent opportunity to make friends with the locals.

Yes yes yes… the beer is good!!! I’ve been to a few of their other locations, but this is my fave. You can sit back and stare at the ceiling for quite a while soaking in all the odd painted characters floating around in the clouds. I even enjoyed the semi-grumpy lady at the front register. I think thats just how she is. It adds to the character of the place! She’s just a bit rough around the edges. I definately was a fan of my pizza since I got my own. And the diagonal cuts made them into the perfect bite sizes. I still regret not bringing a case of their beer home. They had it at a pretty decent price.
