Friendly service, great prices and convenient location. Anthony is awesome.
We recently moved into Tatum Ranch and I was happy to see that I had a few local barbershops close by. I decided to try Mugsy’s after reading the Unilocal reviews from a few places and I’m glad I did. I went in just after they opened on a Wednesday morning and was able to walk right it and get a spot in Anthony’s chair. Anthony welcomed me as a new customer and we talked about how much we both love Arizona and he gave me a haircut and beard trim. I will certainly be back to Mugsy’s and look forward to taking my son for a true barbershop experience.

I’m a former goodfellas guy, but after I moved to the creek, driving 30 minutes for a haircut was a little much. I started going to Mugsy’s after a recommendation, and I haven’t gone anywhere since. Gabriel is one of the best barbers I’ve ever met, and he just cut my 1−½ year old son’s hair like no big deal. A+ all around.

It just doesn’t get any better than here. No matter who cuts your hair they do a great job. The little extras are great.

I’ve been taking my family to Mugsy’s for years. They’ve always done a great job cutting my hair and my boys. Service is extremely friendly and professional. With two locations, they’ll always be able to fit you in. Would recommend them to all.

The only barbershop I go to. They do a great job giving me a NY fade, always get compliments about my line up. They have a new location on carefree highway next to Starbucks offering the same great services. Have had them taper some jeans for me too. Great customer service always greats you at the door.

I got the worst hair cut of my life at this place. No joke! I went here because the salon I normally go to wasn’t open. The place was right next door, so I thought to myself «well, what’s the worst that can happen? How bad can a haircut really get?» The answer to that question become eye-​openingly apparent after I left.
As I looked over my hair in my car’s mirror, I noticed that they gave me a bowl cut. I looked like Moe in the Three Stooges, perhaps even worse. There was nothing redeeming about it. I had two back-​to-​back business meetings right after and here I looked like a little twelve year old twerp. The situation bordered on absurdity.
The lady was snickering to herself as she gave me my haircut, so she was probably aware of how horrible it was and enjoying the moment sadistically.
When I went back to ask for a refund, she had the audacity to blame me for the haircut. Apparently I hadn’t specified that I didn’t want a bowl cut. I guess you have to bring a list of all of the styles of haircuts you don’t want.
Maybe the place is good for five year old kids, but if you are an adult steer clear. I repeat, steer clear!

Took my 4yr old there today. Zoya was very nice with him and he had a great haircut in a real barber shop.
The people are very friendly, and do not small talk and drive you crazy. Prices are very reasonable and the environment is quite and they provide fast service.

Came in got awesome haircut, will definitely be coming back. The guy Gabriel cuts just right. You tell him and he does it. Will be back.
