We came for lunch on a visit to the mountain-folk relatives. I got a flight of beers, great price and decent beers. I didn’t love all of them, but that’s ok, you can’t like everything! I especially enjoyed the brown ale. They don’t have a face-melting IPA, and I totally respect them for that! I think the beer they make compliments the menu very well. Speaking of that, the food was outstanding! Awesome reuben, great steeak sandwich, we all loved our food!!!

We have a new favorite restaurant in the Catskill/Athens/Coxsackie area due to chef Adam Marks’ culinary skills. First night we ate there I had the NY Strip special — cooked to(medium rare) perfection. My wife had the seafood(shrimp and scallops) pasta special, which she loved. The salad dressing(ranch) was delicious and tasted freshly made. Even the hummus served(complementary) with the bread was delicious. Service was attentive, even though they were very busy. Second night was with a larger party, including four kids. We are used to getting at least one wrong entrée served with such a large party, but they bucked the trend and got everything perfect(lots of changes, including one person who needed to have whole-wheat pasta, which they had). Fried artichoke special was amazing, as was my «sacchittini»(stuffed pasta sacks) special. The Thai Chili wings were amazing(my kids said they were the best wings they ever had). Side of broccoli rabe with sausage was great, too. Again, service was very attentive. Can only say that the pizza LOOKED delicious(none of us ordered it). Honestly cannot complain about any aspect of the meal — food, service or price.

Stopped here for some food and drinks with few friends after hiking by kaaterskill falls(great place for hiking). The bar tender was this lady who was very rude, and it appeared that she didn’t care what her customers might think of her absolutely awful behavior. Food was okay, got some calamari, chicken wings etc. and it was average. Nothing to really die for. The service is terrible, so terrible that this other customer even looked at us and was shocked that the bar tender was acting so rude to us. We still tipped pretty good and left afterwards. Definitely not going there ever and definitely don’t recommend this place for anyone!

Solid decision on our part to take a quick pitstop from our roadtrip for some pizza and a brew. Quiet crowd on a late Sunday afternoon, but the pizza hit the spot — with a garlic knot type crust that was ultimately some extra good bread at the end of a larger slice of pie. The bartender provided some good chit-chat while we sipped on one of the handful of in-house beers that they brew facility directly next door. It’s always cool checking out the vibe of these kind of towns, and Angela’s seemed to complement the entire experience.

This place is wonderful! Their beer is fantastic and I have never had a meal there I didn’t love, their chicken Marsala is amazing and the wait staff is very friendly and provide excellent service. One of our new favorite spots! Will definitely be back soon

Haven’t been there in a while and was surprised to see it renovated. Great selection of their own craft beer and the pizza was great! Service was fast and excellent! Will definitely be back there again soon!

Stopped in on the way back home from a Catskills getaway. We read that the pizza was good, and wanted to try some local brews while we were in the area. We stopped by in the late afternoon on a Saturday, and were seated in the dining room. I wanted to sit in the bar area because we just wanted some slices and beers, but it was too chilly in the front room. After ordering a beer flight, we waited a fair amount of time before the waitress took our food order. We received our beer flights(6 beers on tap) and our pizza, which was made fresh. We kept it simple with plain, ham, and pepperoni slices. The pizza was absolutely phenomenal. The crust was thin and loaded with sauce and cheese. There was a fair amount of topping evenly spread around, which I appreciated. The sauce was well seasoned and not too heavy on the oregano. The pizza was a little too greasy, and the crust could have been more crispy. I think that some of the sogginess came from the grease overload. The beer was at most all right, but it did go nicely with the pizza. It was a little bit too warm. My favorite was probably the Iron Mitts Stout.

Had a great meal visiting for a snowboard trip, pizza smelled amazing as soon as we walked in the door. I tried one of the in house brewed beers and it was great. Fresh bread was brought to the table with our drinks. The wings were great and the pizza phenomenal. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the whole menu. All deserts were baked to order and we were pleased with the check. Absolutely no gripes about this place

I saw mixed reviews for Angela’s but some of the locals suggested I try it and I am glad I did. Great pizza. I even took home a pint of their sauce so I can cook my own pasta while I am here. Excellent table service. Strongly recommend.

Upon moving to Greene county we needed to find a great Italian restaurant with take out. We found it here. The pizza is fresh and delicious. perfect NY style crust. We’ve tried the entrees too and you get a lot of food for the price. I definitely recommend!

Really friendly service. They allowed me to charge my phone at the bar(I was traveling from PA). An elderly woman was bustling about the place making sure that everything was perfect. I was hoping that she was the«Angela». She seemed like your typical Italian Nona, which is always a good sign! The pizza had a very crispy crust with tiny bubbles… very interesting, and very good. The cheese was a little on the greasy side, so I would stick with just cheese and not add the pepperoni.

We were traveling through and felt like a pizza. We stopped and ordered a large cheese pizza to go($ 11.78). While it was cooking we looked around. The salad at looked very good and the lunch special of unlimited salad bar plus 2 slices of pizza or a ¼ lb hamburger seemed like a food deal. The restaurant looked clean and the menu attractive. Our pizza came out in short order, and we took it with us. Later that evening we dug in. The thin crust was just right and the sauce delicious with just the right amount of cheese. It was great pizza. We’re glad we stopped.

While living in upstate New York, this was my go to Italian restaurant. I really dig their pizza. The sauce is spot on; sweet, but not too sweet, with plenty of herbs. The pasta dishes are quite good, as well. Every Friday is all you can eat pasta for about $ 10, so that makes for an economical, yet filling evening. Their pasta in vodka sauce is to die for. Plenty of seating, very friendly staff, and a casual atmosphere. It’s a nice place for a date, as well as the family, and won’t break the bank.

On my cousin’s wedding day we were starving, so someone ran out to Angela’s and got some pizzas and garlic knots. The pizza was solid and nicely seasoned. My only complaint is the grease level. The pizza was very greasy, and the garlic knots were beyond anything I’ve ever seen before. I actually didn’t eat one because I was afraid of what it would do to my stomach. It seems that Angela’s is a decent option considering how this area is lacking in restaurants.

We’ve been coming to Angela’s for decades. They have a consistantly good breakfast, and now, a breakfast buffet, too. Their pizza is the prime attraction for The Hub, though, and Angela’s has never dissappointed him in that regard. Their takeout pies are always done just perfectly, the sauce is wonderfully seasoned, and the toppings plentiful. We have occasionally had their lunch buffet, which is ridiculously low priced for the selection of items offered. Dinner there is good too, with a bunch of standard entrees plus nightly specials, and even an all-you-can-eat pasta night on Fridays. My entire family has loved the food and value we’ve gotten at Angela’s over the years. This place gets crowded at dinnertime every night, but especially on the werkends when visitors from the City are in town.

GREAT take out pizza. I prefered to take out, though staff were really nice and friendly. The pizza(and I’m pretty picky) was great. $ 1.99 breakfast special was easy and simple, nothing glamorous, but functional(though the place has a bit of a musty smell to it) especially for those staying at the motel next door.

Ok, for as long as I’ve been getting pizza from Angela’s, we had never gotten the garlic knots until recently. WHY did we wait so long?! I’m aware that they are knots of dough drowning in butter and garlic, but oh my lord… there is just so much butter… nom nom nom! Also, the bruschetta is tasty!

Came here for dinner, since this was the nearest food joint from our cabin site. The place was fairly empty on a sunday evening. The place seems like a mom-pop restaurant with the way the décor is. The food is mainly Italian pizza, pasta, steak, chicken. We ordered garlic knots with mariana sauce and Small veggie pizza. The portion is quite large for(2) people. Prices are decent, nothing crazy. all in all, decent place, and as other reviewers have listed, people might be ordering take out rather than eating in.

Stopped by here and had the breakfast buffet and it was the best evar! Best pancakes, great French toast, yummy bacon and coffee so great I drank it black. Only thing on my wish list is syrup with no HFCS. I should have checked for honey … The drawback is that you may most-likely overeat and then get an achy tummy… so don’t go back for more sausage and bacon. :)
