Slow Burns Cigar Shoppe & Smoking Lounge

Great cigar lounge. BYOB. 2 seperate smoking sections, one is more comunal and one is nicely quiiet and secluded. Great cigar selection. Two good nearby liqour stores. My friends and i frequent this location and enjoy the friendly comfortable and WELL VENTILATED atmosphere!

Pros:
Seems like it could be a cool little neighborhood spot.
Decent selection of cigars, a little more expensive than a few local spots but understandable due to the type of business.
There is a very small parking lot in the back so that’s a plus on this busy street.
Cons:
I visited one night to just check out the place and humidor selection. Guy was nice enough but older woman was questionable. Maybe it was odd, to have random people check out your business but my male companion and I were immediately informed of the $ 5 «sitting in the lounge» fee. Okay, fair enough, it’s a business but this was after I said I was there to just look around for a few minutes… anyway, as I looked around the humidor, the guy and woman must have decided I needed an escort. Yeah, that’s what I’ll call it, an «escort». However, the humidor is quite small and so four people at a time will be a bit cramped.
Parking lot is very small.
Overall: At this time, may not go back because I didn’t get a warm fuzzy welcome, but of course, this is my subjective review… and maybe they were robbed recently. I hope not.

Had a small intimate event there on last Saturday. The place is very nice. Not to crowded. Very well managed. They even allow you to have food delivered… I love it! The customer service is amazing!

Finally got to experience Slow Burns … thanks to a friend who knows a friend… lol… The moment I walked in, I felt at home. If you aren’t aware Slow Burns is a smoke shop, where you can buy the finest in cigars, then light up in their private lounge.
Now about this evening … it was all about rums paired with cigars. *thanks to #CocktailsByKelly (one of the other cool things… if you didnt smoke… you still got some nice cigar education) The staff is beyond nice, and based on some of the conversations I had the cigars are more then reasonably priced. As one gentleman pointed out they even have more modernized humidors. All in all, great spot and worth a visit. Maybe even a gift card for the smoker in your life xoxo Poet #justcuriouslife

I was recently here for an event held by the good brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. The event was a cigar and Rum pairing party. Although the name suggests otherwise, Slow burns is a lounge that specializes in cigars. These guys have every cigar under the sun and are very knowledgeable.
Slow burns is very quaint, yet spacious. It has nice seating and great ventilation.
I was already signed on for another visit but, when I found out the establishment was BYOB; I knew it was destined. LOL. If you didnt bring any adult libations with you, they also have a community cooler you can choose beers from. In exchange all they ask is that you donate.
If you are ever in the Catonsville area and wish to relax at a cigar bar, give Slow burns a try.

This is by far the best cigar shop and lounge in Maryland. The humidor has a great selection of cigars, and the prices are very reasonable. The lounge itself is absolutely awesome; Its truly unlike any other lounge I’ve ever visited. Once you’ve settled into one of the many comfortable leather chairs, you will be amazed at how fast time goes by. The owner (Bald guy) and staff are very friendly, and geuninely know how to treat customers. Do yourself a favor, come check out this shop as soon as possible… you’ll be glad you did.

Great spot. If you’re a smoker in the area, get here. Great staff. Good selection. Fair prices. Tasha always greets you with a smile and a spot on recommendation for your palate, whether you’re a novice or a vet. Haven’t had a bad time here yet.
