At first you think you are locked up in prison. But after your second week your head starts getting clear and everything the count first tell you the text tell you is true. I recommend this place to anyone it is an awesome place awesome people and an awesome County I’m backwards and don’t know much about the city but I know these people are awesome they help me out 20-​fold. Very very recommended don’t get discouraged get help.

Desert Palms offers evidence based treatment to help people get past problems with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma and other mental health issues. Unlike other programs that are purely 12-​Step based, Desert Palms offers cutting edge treatments that include DBT, Seeking Safety, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR to treat trauma. Desert Palms introduces the 12-​step program of recovery, but also offers SMART Recovery and REFUGE Recovery for those that don’t want to participate in AA or NA. Alternative therapies are also offered including Tai Chi, Qui Gong, acupuncture, massage and chiropractic services. With a low client to therapist ratio (6:1), each person is treated individual, and there is no cookie cutter approach to treatment. I wish Sunspire Health Desert Palms had been around when I first tried to get sober– I know it would have made my process way easier. This place is awesome.

Desert Palms saved my life, I will be forever grateful to the staff. I had a life changing experience there because my therapist and the director were patient and kind enough to give me second and third chances. I was a wreck when I got there and totally lost, when I left I had gained the tools and enough confidence to stay sober and the strength to move forward with my life
