Do you want to save some money on home projects? This is the store if you’ve got the time to lurch around and find what you need(and realize that it may take you a few trips to find it). They carry closeouts and overruns and the like, so you never know exactly what they’ll have. They have an awesome stock of doors, cabinets & flooring… the rest is probably hit or miss depending on the day you come. When we were there this weekend, they had a huge selections of refrigerators but a small handful of other appliances. They had tons of brushed nickel door knobs & locks for $ 10 or less. The next time I need something for a project, I’ll definitely check this store if I’m in the area. If you go in the winter, remember to wear extra warm clothing. They don’t heat the warehouse… I think it felt colder inside the place than it did in the parking lot. I felt a bit silly walking around with my scarf, hat & gloves, but, darn it, it was cold. Alas, the things I do to save a buck!

This is the Lehigh Valley location for a small chain of discount home supply stores. I was there a few weeks ago because we are on the move and need various odd supplies. Miller’s has exactly that. It is a large warehouse of slightly damaged and discontinued home supply merchandise. I was very happy to find a perfectly fine lock set for only $ 80 that I saw at Lowe’s for $ 135. They have doors, toilets, sinks, flooring, lumber and some other odds and ends. A great place to save some money. Only downer is that we were there on a cold, stormy night and the place is not heated. Plus the roof was leaking in some locations. But you can’t beat the prices!
