A friend and I stopped in The Depot Café for lunch on a whim on our way to upstate New York and had a lovely time. We each had a sandwich and cookie — all delicious.
We managed to get there just before a big lunch rush, and the staff was friendly through everything and seemed to fill orders quickly and with accuracy.
This is a cute little business and I’d happily stop by again if I’m in the area.

Three different sandwiches, each one very good. Fresh ingredients with distinctive flavors. Nice, clean and bright seating area. Definitely will return here.

Poultney, VT
This is a new establishment and a very welcome addition to the community. As someone with a MAJOR Sweet Tooth I can say that The Depot’s baked goods are terrific. A bit pricey but certainly delicious. I will be having breakfast there whenever I’m taking the train.
