I was first introduced to Perkins as a teen. For an 18 – 19 year old social butterfly, this was the more«upscale» version of Denny’s. I love the menu and I’ve always been impressed by the courteous and knowledgeable wait staff. Fluffy, buttery pancakes and perfect eggs are just a couple reason why they still hold a place in my heart. I’m an adult now, but my teenage taste memories still savor the flavor.

I’ve been here for breakfast a couple times and it’s pretty good. They have lots to choose from and the prices are reasonable. Not to mention their portion sizes are filling so you won’t leave hungry. I forgot the meal that I ordered, but it came with three pancakes, eggs, ham(there’s other choices) and a cup of fruit. It was about 6 bucks, but I added spinach, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms to my eggs so it bumped up the price a little. All in all, I was satisfied. The waiter was friendly and fast as well as the host when we checked out. Beware of the huge case of sweeties in the lobby. Filled with cookies, pies and muffins the size of a grapefruit. Maybe not that big but they’re yummy and dangerous!

Solid 4 star joint, great for those 4am hunger pangs. In house bakery is doing a great job. Fast and courteous service and good food, big portions. Fun watching the late night crowd of drinkers turn into the early morning crowd heading to work. Omelette was cooked thoroughly and the spinach and mushrooms were fresh, not canned. Big plus! Heartiest recommendation for breakfast

If you want a clean modern décor, don’t come here. I am a foodie with no fashion sense, but even I recognize dated tacky decorations that the staff does not have time to clean. Gordon Ramsey or Robert Irvine would have a field day shredding this apart. If you want chic, hip modern food, don’t come here. The menu contains relatively standard breakfast fare, a limited lunch and dinner menu, and nothing to really set it apart. The prices run a tad higher on some things than at IHOP or Denny’s. Their pies are delicious, though pricey on their own(you can get a better deal, of course, if you also buy an entrée). So why, you might ask, would I give it 4 stars? Simple. The staff, with a particular shout out to the late night weekend crew. Go there more than once. Become someone’s «regular», and feel the love. The staff takes pride in their customer service. They deal with all kinds of people at that time of night, ranging from weary travelers, families going for late night dinners, and the drunken post bar crowd. Treat them like people, not indentured servants, and you will be pleased. They will remember you and your orders and it will feel like being home. I give particular props to a young man named Nolan, for he has never had a bad day serving me even when it is clear the night is insane for him.

Absolutely freakin love this place. The best service and food I have had in a long time. Pat the manager is fabulous and Charity and Debbie are the best two servers I have ever had. Breakfast. Lunch or dinner Perkins is where it’s at! Also Friday nights Doug the magician is there for entertainment. This is our favorite place to go now. We go at least twice a week of not more.

My husband and I love coming here on a regular basis. The food selection is great, everything always tastes awesome. They even offer free pie on Mondays and $.99 pie on Wednesdays! Their muffins are also out of this world! Charity and Debbie are the best waitresses we’ve ever had and we love being regulars and coming to see these great girls. Make sure you try the meatloaf — it’s to die for! :) Sign up your email and you’ll get coupons for money off of their already low, low prices!

Had been craving some breakfast food lately. Had to take the day off work for eye surgery and decided to pop in. Had never been to this particular Perkins, and this one sets the bar. Clean place, friendly staff, great food. Love the new Cinnamon Roll platter. The Bacon is truly to die for! Our server was Kelly, and she took great care of us.

This is one of my favorite restaraunts to come to when I want a quiet place to eat. They have the best coffee of anywhere I’ve been and they easily have the best eggs benedict I’ve ever eaten.

PERKIN’S LOCATIONNEEDSHELP IHOP, CRACKERBARRELARENEARBY @ I-69AND116TH If it weren’t for its location, this Perkin’s would be in trouble. It’s interior and exterior are as tired as its management team… although there are still a few good servers there. We especially like Matt. My friends and family don’t mind paying Perkin’s higher-than-the-competition prices(usually $ 1 – 2 per meal or 10−20% on a ticket), but when you add the worn out surroundings, the lack of staffing, the hit-and-miss management, it’s just not worth the stop anymore. If you’re hungry for breakfast or homestyle comfort food, there’s a Cracker Barrel and and IHOP at I-69 and 96th Street, which is just a few minutes northeast of Perkin’s. Both are better and cheaper.

I love this place. One of the best breakfast spots in town, late-night or otherwise. They have the fluffiest, best-tasting scrambled eggs, and everything else just tastes really fresh. I rarely eat anything other than breakfast here, but I recall having a decent burger here once too. I always choose Perkins over Denny’s or IHOP. I mean, come on– they have a bakery!

I love Perkins. I didn’t have them around where I grew up and I think I like them more than Denny’s or Ihop. Denny’s seems so salty. The servers at this location have always been nice and attentive. I usually stick to breakfast and go with something with eggs. I like how there are different choices for the sides. I usually stick with pancakes or a muffin. Its priced decent as well and it 24 hours. Thats great for me since I keep weird hours!

Perkins is probably right up there for being one of my favorite hangover meals of all time. A large group of us(about seven people) went to Perkins after a brutal night out on the town. Breakfast was screaming our names and we needed eggs, potatoes, bacon, and tons of gravy to fill the empty void that once was full of nourishment. It was a fantastic meal to say the least. The food was wonderful. I ordered the chicken biscuits, which came with two eggs cooked to order, bacon, hash browns or breakfast potatoes, and of course, the chicken biscuits, all covered in gravy and cheese. What seems like a nightmarish situation for your heart is overthrown by the love your taste buds will experience. Everyone seemed incredibly happy with their meal, and for around $ 10 to boot. Our waitress may as well have been a superhero. She was super kind and basically served us like we were her own flesh and blood. She is older, gray hair, and a server’s heart of gold. She was fast, accurate, very sweet, and did her job without error. She even offered to-go drinks for people who ordered not water beverages. How does that even happen? On your way out you should definitely give the bakery counter a once over to see the glowing goodness that is their pie selection.

I have eaten at Perkin’s in other cities, especially when working late and found them to be pretty godj sadly this is Not the experience I had this evening. Tonight, while dining around 10pm I found the food to be undercooked and not served at an appropriate temperature. The manager supposedly correctrd this issue but it was not corrected. The server became quite angry at my requesting my baked potato be re-cooked; I didn’t even bother to have my asparagus re-cooked. STAYAWAY from this place at all costs. It would be preferable to go to be hungry.

One of the only places that are still open after our late night work outs! Its really close to Lifetime fitness and we usually end up here around 1AM. Quality of food is still pretty decent even really late. Definitely love having pancakes and hash browns after a nice 3 mile run!

I wasn’t very impressed with this place. Took a while for the food to get out and the food was okay. Would I return? Most likely, because its Perkins and one of the few places open at midnight. :)

For what it is, Perkins is great. Very dependable breakfast and late night spot. Great place to go when you’re hammered and starving(just get someone to drive you) or for Sunday hungover brunch. The servers are really nice and the food is pretty decent. I know their pies are awesome, too, although I never get them because I know I would probably eat the whole thing if I took it home.

Perkins is perkin’. You know, Perkins is sort of like Denny’s except warmer — more inviting. Perkins is sort of like Cracker Barrel, except not as cracker. Its just right — and its cheap. During the week is the best because its not over crowded, never rushed and the breakfast specials run around $ 5 or $ 6 bucks. I never go to Perkins for anything other than breakfast so I can’t comment on the dinner and lunch food, but the pastries are always loaded with carbs, the eggs are cooked the way you ask, and the waitresses call you«hon». Mmmm hmmm — I might just have to go to Perkins right now — they’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
