Before using this surgery center, check with your insurance company! Make sure they are in network by speaking with your INSURANCE company. Just because your doctor is in network doesn’t mean this surgery center is. Don’t ask the Surg Center if they are in network because they may agree to take a reduced fee even if they are not in network. Which meant another $ 5000 deductible for me. If you elect to have surgery at this facility, check with your insurance company regarding the anesthesiologist and the surgeon and anyone else who will be billing while you are unconscious! If this is an elective procedure, don’t take anyone’s word for it… get a pre-​authorization in writing for everyone who will be billing you. My surgery was great but this billing makes me regret ever receiving services at the Surg Center of Castle Rock.
