You cannot buy a better breakfast burrito. Especially for the price. I could honestly eat one for every meal. Love the variety of sauces/spiciness as well. Make sure you order the burritos with cheese if you want the best possible burrito experience. All around, one of my favorite stops in Castle Rock.

Was very pleased to find out the food was delicious. The spicy green chili is excellent, and the salsa is going to be one of my favorites. Definitely going back multiple times in the future.

Best Mexican food we’ve had in Colorado, and probably the best since moving away from El Paso, Tx. Really good salsa, green chile actually had flavor, and enchiladas weren’t bland and full of cheddar cheese like so many Mexican wannabe restaurants in Colorado. Admittedly the place could be cleaner, and we hate that it’s not open on Sundays, but this is one of our favorites in CR.

This is the first review I have eve taken the time to write. We are huge fans of Santiago’s. That all changed tonight when we found three finger nails in our green chili. If your reading this review I urge you to rethink your choice. We will NEVER again return to this location. Take the time to drive to any other place. If you wish to ignore check every bite because I doubt this will be the last time they put things in there food and serve it to customers.

Still fabulous. My stepson was here a year ago from TX and said ‘this is the best Mexican I have ever eaten’. He was here again in August and guess what he had to say… This is the best Mexican I have ever eaten. Very happy!

Went there today with my wife. Waitress didn’t even notice us while serving other customers that came in after Us. Getting ready to leave she finally came over to take our order The plates the food were served on we’re cold the cheese not melted on my burrito Meat not seasoned wife’s was the same. If you want real Mexican food go to the other locations. Yes it used to be a great place to eat not any more. it may be busy but I think they believe that The customers will keep coming because of the name. Not so. food sucks service sucks. Iam surprised there still open.

Hate having to call and see what meat in the burrito is for the day. Family of 4 will never typically want the same thing. The time it takes them to serve you is crazy. You would think it was being made to order so one meat for the day is obviously not speeding anything up. I’ve shown up many times but left cause it wasn’t my flavor of the day or the person with me didn’t want it. All I can say is a lot of missed opportunity and maybe the revenue they could be making could go into sprucing the place up. Employees hide behind policy and can be rude about it. I hate to write this review cause I like the product. Just hate the policy and employees that don’t care. I can live with the hole in the wall look. I called this morning hungry to find out what meat today was. Found out my wife didn’t want meat. I asked if we dine in could she get something else. She said no and sorry. Frustrated i told the girl we would go to another place. She laughed… Enough said…

Mmmmm no. I’ve been to several Santiago’s in the Denver metro and I’m a HUGE fan. I live in lone tree so this is the quickest one to get to but I’ll make the sacrifice and drive to the one in englewood. First, it took FOREVER to get 4 breakfast burritos. 3 half and half, 1 plain(even the mild chile is too hot for my 18 month old). I’m talking like 25 minutes and they weren’t even that busy. Second, they ended up being sausage not bacon like I was told and there was barely anything in them. It was pretty pitiful. It was mostly egg, a couple small pieces of potato and some sausage but they were so small it almost wasn’t worth the 10 minute drive to get them. Along with that, when I got them home they were cold and there was hot chile in all of them so my order was wrong anyway. Third… when did they start putting jalapeños in the green chile? Is this always a thing? I’ve not had one with jalapeño until this last Saturday and it really ruined the chile. The place isn’t gross or anything but I didn’t like that the waitress or manager or whoever she was kept cutting through the line of to go customers to get to her sit down peeps. Also there were just a bunch of teenagers standing around doing zero amount of work or helping with food or anything. I hate giving negative reviews but I also hate being disappointed when I get something I’ve been craving and it tastes horrible. This place seriously needs to get it together. Like I said, I’ll drive the 25 minutes to the one on Broadway. It’s a pretty solid location.

Santiago’s is my go to mexican when in Castle Rock but today I was very disappointed. I ordered the breakfast burrito special smothered deluxe and it was cold my girlfriend ordered the tacos and they didn’t even have lime and the rice was overcooked with no flavor. When we let the server know that the rice was overcooked and my burrito was cold not only did we receive attitude but said my burrito was cold because I put hot sauce on it. Definitely will not return.

Santiago has the best breakfast burritos! Their eggs are always so fresh tasting and the salsa is so good! They are pretty busy when we go but we know why! We love that they have a drive through and it’s the first place we think of when we want Mexican!

Lived in Denver for years and Santiagos was a food group for me. I was a regular. Not all Santiago’s are santiagos. In Castle Rock this morning and Jerome just sat in the drive thru line for 14 minutes to get a breakfast burrito while employee’s sitting outside on smoke break. Other spots for a good breakfast burrito in Castle Rock, this is my last time here. I’ll hit up Santiago’s in Denver, but skip Castle Rock.

This is bar far the best burrito for the price that we have ever had, let alone in Castle Rock, CO. The kids and I love making a special morning treat out of their burritos. The staff is friendly and just great overall!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Santiagos. The food was just fine. The green chili was good, the only problem is that there are so many good Mexican food restaurants that it makes it tough to give it a four star rating. I will say the carnitas burrito smothered in their hot green chili was excelente! Me gusto un monton de verdad. The rest of the food was decent, but not memorable. That being said, their prices are very good. You could do worse than eating here.

I want to start this review off by saying I tried to prevent sending a negative review, with hopes that the Restaurant Manager would understand where I was coming from and make good with the situation. We ordered a significant amount of burritos from this location last night with an order to be made and ready to go prior to 630a the next day. We definitely understand making 350+ breakfast burritos with a short turnaround is a challenge, that being said, if they didn’t think they could do it — let us know! The burritos were ready to go on time, there was no question about that, and as a matter of fact, we appreciate the hard work put into it. However, let me let you know where the ship starts turning around… When we started eating the burritos, we got feedback that this wasn’t the«Santiago’s brand we were used to.» and the«taste was compromised.» The burritos weren’t filled with chili like they usually are and full of eggs, meat, potatoes, cheese, etc. The Santiago’s that we are used to… Moving on, people aren’t going to put up a big stink, because the food was paid for by the company and it is free food. However; I felt compelled to let the management team at Santiago’s know what was going on, just so(1) this experience wouldn’t happen again(2) we would continue to go back to this location(3) let other people who order the amount of burritos we did, not have to experience this. I decided to call the manager of the store to give her a little insight on what we experienced(the professional thing to do) and this is where the plot got THICK! When speaking with the manager of this location(MOD3÷28÷14 at 10:45a) I informed her of all of the above. I let her know very respectfully that this isn’t the Santiago’s brand that is consistent to the taste they brought to the Denver area. I let her know the level of satisfaction was relatively low and the masses weren’t satisfied with the product. She respectfully listed to me, but apparently this didn’t sit well with her b/c she told me there are about 1000+ other burritos that went out after our order and no one has complained. YES, THISWASHERRESPONSE! She didn’t care that we just spent close to $ 1000 on breakfast burritos and this is something that we do for our organization on a monthly basis. This didn’t matter to her… After a short conversation she said with the utmost confidence for our organization not to order from her location again. I asked for clarification, and she confirmed again, «you might want to order from a different location if you aren’t satisfied with our food.» There was no effort to make good by our dissatisfaction, there wasn’t an apology, there wasn’t a «Hey, we sell HUNDREDS of burritos a day and we might have made a mistake.» Complete arrogance, lack of care, concern, and even more so the customer experience was at a all time low. Needless to say, we won’t order our $ 1000 orders from Santiago’s in the future. Hopefully this isn’t a reflection of all of their locations, which I highly doubt, cause we have had A+ experiences from all of their locations EXCEPT this one. Manager, who’s name starts with a «K,» Krissy? Katie? Katherine… I apologize for forgetting your name… my purpose of the phone call was to be able to resolve this over the phone versus having to write a thesis via Unilocal.Trust me, if a simple apology over the phone was given, this wouldn’t have happened. I think we will change our orders back to Sabor Mexican Grill, they appreciate our business…

This review is for take out because I haven’t had a chance to go inside the restaurant yet… Someone brought in take out for a meeting I was going to and you aren’t expecting much when your burrito comes in a styrofoam container but WOAH! Spectacular complex flavors and actually SPICY when you order Spicy… They recommend you get the half spicy half mild because most people can’t take the full spicy. they were right. the half and half was JUST right. I got the green chili smothered burrito and it was fantabulous. everyone else at the meeting raved about their takeout too. Just imagine how good it would be if you got to eat it on a plate.
