Planet Scuba

I did my scuba certification through Planet Scuba years ago. I can’t comment on other reviews but in my experience they were on time and very helpful.
I haven’t dove for a while so I’m going to do a refresher course with them for an upcoming dive trip.

Wanted to bring the bf to try scuba diving for one of their Discover Scuba classes in July. On their flyer, Planet Scuba had one scheduled for ⁷⁄₁₂ but when I called, they said they’d be away on a trip and rescheduled the class for ⁷⁄₁₉. I signed us both up for the class with the representative on the phone and drove all the way from Colorado Springs to the community center at Castle Rock early morning that Sunday the 19^th. We were super excited to try scuba, especially after driving so early, but no one from Planet Scuba was there! We asked around in the community center for any contact info, since the phone number for the shop went straight to voicemail (they don’t open on Sundays). We waited around for a whole hour hoping someone would show up, but we were stood up despite our previous arrangements! Didn’t think that we’d be stood up by a business like a guy on a blind date, but it just shows how incapable this store is with committing to dates. Luckily the Discover Scuba class was free – I wouldn’t trust this scuba shop with setting travel dates or anything that involves money really. Book at your own risk!
