3 monthes for them to rebuild my transmission. Less then 100 miles later it goes bad. They wanted to charge me labor to pull the transmission to rebuild it again. The truck has sat at their shop for 2 more monthes and hasn’t been touched.

Huge shout out to Dr. Mike & Dr. Paul at H&M Transmission. We have a 1961 converted ice cream truck, #HUMPHREY, that is the only «store» we have for Ooey Gooey. They are the only ones I trust with this truck after really sketchy service else where! Wednesday, I had to tow Humphrey to them after the battery cables melted and filled the cab with smoke — scary, right!!! I cannot say enough about this local, veteran-​owned company that knew I had huge events scheduled this weekend and needed the truck to honor the commitments we had made. They worked hard until #HUMPHREY came back to life, were great at answering my questions and explaining what had happened so I can understand it, showing me the melted cables, and doing whatever they had to do to have our vehicle back in time for a private party on Saturday. Thank you!!!

The worst service you can receive from an automotive repair facility. They returned my transmission still not shifting, then when given an opportunity to rectify the problem, they denied it and couldn’t even take the time to accurately drive the vehicle. Given one last chance, Paul offered slander instead of just fixing the problem. And beware of the «ATRA» nationwide warranty. He is falsely selling them when he isn’t even supposed to be providing them. THIS IS THE GUY that people warn you about being careful of!

My family has four cars, and we trust them to Mike at H&M. Veteran owned business, if that’s important to you. His team of people are honest and friendly — I trust they are not charging me for needless repairs or inflating costs. Christine at reception is wonderful — they’re all flexible with getting the work done when I need. Only drawback is they don’t have weekend hours and their reception area could be described as «functional» and «clean» … But with the money I save I can actually go to the spa when I want luxury atmosphere.

I recently went to H & M Automotive in Castle Rock to get the bumper on my 2001 VW Beetle replaced. It’s an old car with high mileage and I no longer carry collision insurance so I wanted to minimize the cost of the repair. They did it for less than half the price I was quoted by the dealer and it looks GREAT. I love these guys – will now use them not just for body work but full service auto repair and maintenance.

I’ve brought my 2002 Volvo S60 in twice. The first time was about a year ago, the car had a small tranny leak and sometimes the car would surge a bit when you were stopped at a light like it was downshifting, which I thought might be related to a transmission pump gasket leak. They indicated I had a seal leak and there were some other items they recommend I address.
The second time to address those issues and some more repairs was this past month and the experience was vastly different. I was tempted to write down all the details, but frankly the more I think about it the more depressing the whole thing gets.
Bottom line, they don’t want me to come back, but that’s not a problem since there’s no desire on my part to go back. .
They seem to have a mixed reputation, so my advice is be cautious; get a written quote detailing everything they are to do and make sure it’s done right. If they screw up they might fix, it they might not, they fixed the alignment issue they caused, but I now have a car that’s only have done and also has more problems then it did when I took it in.
