Very few businesses deserve TEN stars but this is one does. 3 quotes from 3 repairmen/​garage door companies out checking job — after saying he would have a quote we never heard from him. one quote was 700 over Jim’s at Door-​tech.
The professionalism and attention to detail of installing two new doors with openers made our day!!! Jim called updating each detail and when he would be there — kept us updated on every item. Worked late into day to have installation complete in one day!

I live in Minnesota, but my daughter lives in Fountain. Her garage door was broken, junk and needed to be replaced.
I was visiting and called a couple of garage door service companies. I was looking just for a «ballpark» figure as to either repair or replacement. Long story short is that one company was somewhere either out of the state or used an answering service to monitor and answer their calls. The 2^nd company was local, but after finally reaching them, they continued to put me on hold while they answered other calls. After promising to call the next day and come out and give me an on site estimate, they never followed through.
I found Door Techs and in one call received good information and a next day appointment to come on site and do an estimate and show me materials they use in their repairs and replacements. They followed through the next day in the a.m. and because I was leaving town in a couple of days, they gave me an appt. for the next day.
Jim and his son came out as promised and within a few hours removed the old single and double doors. They had the new doors and hardware and old openers in place. and the junk doors loaded and the work area cleaned up.
There was a pattern mistake in the single door and Jim made arrangements to come back in three days and replace those panels. He did this as promised, on time, and promptly.
Jim and his son were professional, courteous, and at no time did they attempt to bait and switch or upsell me on any of their product line. The doors worked and looked beautiful, and the work area was cleaner than when they arrived to do the work. Payment to them can be cash, check or credit card.
I highly recommend Door-​Techs for any of your garage door problems from repair to replacement. I told Jim that if anyone wants to actually talk to me about my experiences with them, he can feel free to have them call me.
It was a pleasure to do business with Door-​Techs as they delivered their service and ;product as promised at a fair value price.
