By far the best place for Chinese food in Castle Rock. Great lunch place! Eaten here twice. Service a little slow the first time but better the second time around.

Disappointing and overpriced. Fried rice is too salty. Crispy duck too salty. Italian fish too salty. Overpriced too. Service is ok so I blame the cook and not the wait staff. They refilled my drink, offered to take group pictures and got our orders in fast on the two times I had visited.

This is the second time we have been here and both times were great. The food is awesome and they don’t skimp on the servings. We had dinner for 4 and we brought half of it home. This will be our go to place when we want Chinese in Castle Rock.

I ordered the wor won soup and it was mostly cabbage and some touch pieces of chicken. I also ordered 2 egg rolls and they were full of cabbage. Not worth it

Best Chinese food in Castle Rock & Parker. So many Chinese food restaurants charge too much for a meal made with mystery meat or very little meat. Yes it’s your standard décor but it’s cute and clean. We live close by and order takeout often, the portion sizes are large and the food is consistently GOOD. I would definitely recommend it.

Fast delivery, ok price, food was ok just not what I’m used to. Ckn lo mein was cooked in something with a seafood taste. General Tso was not spicy but was ok. Egg rolls were more like spring rolls so if you like spring rolls you are set. If you like egg rolls you would be sad. Just ok not bad not great.

We ended up stuck in traffic on the way back from Colorado Springs, and couldn’t wait any longer. The food desert that is Castle Rock didn’t look promising, so we settled for China Café. The best thing I can say is that it was nice and dark at 6pm on a blazing Saturday. The décor is 50s, the food is 70s, and you should save your money. My Pad Thai was covered in sickeningly sweet sauce, and the chicken had seen better days. The chicken lo mein was made with the wrong kind of noodles. Service is nice, and the bathrooms are spotless. Otherwise, China Café is «Asian» food done wrong. There’s Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese on the menu, but it’s hard to imagine anything being worth the money. Keep driving to Greenwood Village or Centennial. Your taste buds will thank you.

Been looking for a place like this for a long time! I don’t think I’ll ever go to a Chinese buffet ever again. I got the cashew chicken and it was delicious! The lunch portion also comes with soup an egg roll and fiancé got the combination lo-mein and he loved that dish as well. Great portions. I will be back to this place for sure!

There’s no menu online and the Unilocal menu is incorrect with both what china café has as well as what the prices are. Go through the pictures and there is several pictures of the takeout menu on there. Ask for a menu when you order over the phone so you have one in the future as well!

Not too bad for a little town like castle rock! Don’t order pad Thai or Vietnamese stuff. Stick to Chinese and you will be fine.

I picked up my husband in Castle Rock and we get in the car and start driving. It’s one of those things where you finally realized you don’t know where you are going and you ask the dreaded question — where would you like to eat… Before I got the usual response — I don’t care I said Mexican, Pizza, Bistro, Café, Chinese. he says Chinese and I say when looking on Unilocal before I left home there is a place that is getting good review right over there. So cutting over two lanes of traffic to get where we wanted to go(and no I didn’t cut anyone off) we drove 2 blocks and found China Café in a Strip Mall by the Grocery Store. I walked in and it has typical Chinese Restaurant décor and only one table was seated for dining. There were two young girls behind the front counter/register that jumped up and seated us quickly. The menu is quite extensive and everything looked wonderful and there were good smells coming from the kitchen. We finally settled on Sweet & Sour Combination(Shrimp, Chicken and pork) and a Sesame combination(Shrimp, Chicken and beef) along with crab cheese wontons and egg rolls. The wontons and egg rolls arrive after only a few minutes and they were pipping hot — like burn your taste buds off your tongue hot. After letting them cool a bit they were very tasty — the wontons had the right ration of cream cheese to wonton however I didn’t get a real flavor of the crab but they were yummy none the less — the Egg rolls were well done and had the right ration of meat to veggie stuffing. The combo dinners were good. The sesame had a very nice hint of fresh ginger but just a touch on the sweet side for me. I’m not a huge fan of Sweet & Sour anything but this was good, my husband loved it. I found the breading to be a little much for my liking but it was easy enough to remove the extra breading. I’ll definitely be back to sample some other tasty items from their menu.
