CertaPro Painters of Castle Rock

Have you ever tried to hire a painter? There are SO MANY companies, people and professionals to choose from. It’s almost a crap shoot. I’m SO relieved that we went with these guys. We used CertaPro to paint the interior of our new store. We wanted it crisp and white.
It was a tricky job with a lot of industrial ducting, pipes and lines to work around. Not only that, but a lot of construction had gone down around those poor walls and they were pretty banged up. We figured we’d end up with a few paint drips here and there, but we were totally wrong. Not only were they incredibly prompt and nice to work with, but their job was FLAWLESS. They paid great attention to detail and were so low maintenance, professional and easy going. Worth every penny. We’ll use them again in the future for sure.

My second time using CertaPro in Castle Rock to paint the exterior of two different homes — first time was with the previous owner Randy, and this time with Kevin as the owner. Alan was the guy who came out twice to give us the initial quote, and then after we added more requirements that would require additional masking and labor. Alan was pleasant to work with and made sure to capture everything in the quote — which is key to ensure there are no gotchas at the end (like if you want the foundation painted which is not typical).
We had family coming in, and requested the job to be completed by a certain date. They had an adjustment in their scheduling, and bumped ours up to ensure they would complete the job early since wet weather was in the forecast.
We had Rene’s crew, and they were courteous, hard working, focused, detailed, and clearly take pride in their workmanship. They ensured they protected our deck and belongings, and did the best masking job around the house than I have ever seen! Paint was applied well, and they consistently checked their own work and took care of anything needing attention. In the end, there were very few items I had to point out that needed touch up, and Rene just marked them without hesitation so the crew could get on them right away.
Overall, the job took 2.5 days on a fairly large ranch home, which was amazing the progress they made with their attention to detail! I would highly recommend, as the experience before, during and after now that the job is done was great all along. A+++

We had the exterior of our home painted in the spring and we couldn’t be more pleased. Considering we chose a completely different colour scheme, there were a few hiccups along the way. However, Kevin and Allison were only a phone call away to answer our questions and address our concerns.
The work crew (Pedro’s) maintained a professional, prompt and courteous manner, ensuring the gate was kept closed for our dogs as well as clearing everything before they left for the day. Thank you, CertaPro, for making our house the sharpest-​looking on the street:)

Two stars for their decent pricing. We used them to paint the crown moulding and ceilings in two rooms. The previous owner had painted these a dark color. What they failed to warn me about was the gap between the moulding and ceiling from the house settling. The gap was barely evident with the dark color. But as soon as the moulding and ceiling were painted white, it stood out like a sore thumb. The guys they sent just kept painting away and some paint even beaded in the gap to further emphasize it! There was no warning during the in home estimate or recommendation to caulk it first. When the two guys finished, they had me inspect their work and there were some pretty obvious imperfections that they then touched up. They cleaned up their stuff and headed out the door. I had completed a customer satisfaction survey before they left and included my concerns about the work. After they left, I was again inspecting the two rooms when I noticed some paint on probably the single most expensive piece of furniture that was in the two rooms! Thankfully, it wiped off pretty easily. I was pleased to get a call from the office after they read my survey. I was told that the manager would be contacting me so they could ensure that I was satisfied with the work. I never heard another thing! Customer recovery down the drain! We now have a different company in the house painting several rooms and properly caulking and repainting the ceiling and crown moulding.
Update: After posting my initial 2 star review, the owner promptly contacted me and apologized for our experience. He asked if there was anything he could now do to fix the issue. Unfortunately, we already have another vendor under contract and they have already begun their work. But I respect his business integrity so that’s worth another star.

Their personal and professional services don’t start or stop with the painters. I had the awful task of remodeling a very ugly kitchen but a complete rebuild wasn’t possible so I called Certapro to see if they could help me decide a color and a course of action.
Allison from Certapro answered the phone and was just amazing. She was interested, helpful, accomodating and always made me laugh when I was stressing out. She assured me that they would find a working solution for my issue.
They GAVE me an hour free color consultation with a designer (GEM designs) who helped me pick the colors for the makeover of the cabinets and walls. Alison assured me they have a way to help finance it if I needed to but the price was so reasonable I didn’t need it!
The crew came early, fully taped everything and did a flawless job in 1 day. I literally had a new kitchen in one day. And there was NO sign (save for the smell) that anyone was there. It was like right out of the makeover movies.
The owner Kevin came by to see the work! I mean, really, these people care and do everything they can to give a personal touch to the work. He asked if I had any questions or concerns and took very seriously anything I said (I had no concerns but he was prepared for them if I did.
CertaPro Castle Rock, CO a caring company with a remarkably talented crew. When I had new lights put into the living room ceiling they sent the crew that could plaster perfectly — which they did BEFORE painting.
I think a company, in order to provide a real service, has to do that thing that they do (whether it’s painting, building, plumbing, etc) with precision and care. They have to cover your NERVES with TLC from the moment of the first phone call. So far they have painted all but 1000 sq ft of my 4300 sq ft home. I am hooked on their cleanliness and precision and of course Allison and Kevin couldn’t be more genuine. Certapro’s value is way more than paint, it’s the complete package and really reasonable price for professional work done quickly and done right!
