My wife and I believe there couldn’t be a better childcare facility than Castle Academy. The family atmosphere is something special. Both of our girls attended as infants until they completed kindergarten and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with the attention, discipline, love and education they received while they were there. The staff was always friendly, supportive and helpful to us and the owner’s were easily accessible if we had questions or comments. The facility is clean and organized, the routine of the day for your child is stable and the people truly care about you and your child. Thank you CA for all you’ve done!

It’s taken me about 6 months to think about writing this review. We had an absolutely horrible experience with this place. I understand that these are hopefully far and few and most people who write negative reviews are usually the minority but I feel like my experience could stike a cord with many. We started out in the Pre-k class and my son was attending full time. We also like the other review never felt a warm and fuzzy with the«office ladies» they were always quiet and reclusive. But we enjoyed the teachers in the pre-k class. In August, at the start of the school year, they told us with a weeks notice that they wanted to place our son in the next class us to prep for kindergarten. This class was new to him, new set of kids, a new set of so called«qualified teachers» and a new classroom environment. My son hasnt been diagnosed with a learning or behavioral disability but only labeled as high energy. He was always commented on by teachers as being loving and energetic. 9 days after being in the new class, I was told by the teacher we needed to schedule a conference because they had been noticing some things and she said they had been writingn them down but wouldnt tell me. We went in a day later and bottom line up front, they dismissed us, telling us he wouldn’t sit in the circle for 15 min, he was too much of a distraction and they were tored of spending the extra 5 min with him everytime he supposedly would act out. We were never given a heads up when these things did occur so we could work on them together, we never knew there was an issue until they kicked us out. Be careful of this place and their inability to hire effective, caring and qualified teachers. They also do not have tact or the responsibility to their kids/parents at helping them with normal kid/age appropriate behavior issues. They wanted an easy paycheck and figured by moving us up and out they could get more kids that may require less attention in. Shamful, irresponsible, greedy, manipulative and unqualified. I get and understand children can be challenging but to not give parents and children time to correct and change their ways and help build children up is distrusting. I’m only giving it 2 stars because of one teacher who we really liked and always showed us support. We went on to speak with the owners and they have no clue what’s going on in their little dream school! There are plenty of options folks, so take your time and find the right place for your kiddo. Glad we moved on-you get what you pay for!

Our son has attended Castle Academy for pre-school for the 2015 – 2016 year, and we are very impressed with the program and the teachers. The teachers seem to be in tune with the needs of each individual child. I don’t know how they do it! Our daughter attended as an infant, and we were again impressed with the tenderness and loving personalities of the ladies in the infant room. Unfortunately, we were not as impressed with the Toddler 1 experience(just after the infant room) because the class size seemed somewhat large, chaotic, and like there were too many children that kept each of them from getting the attention they needed at the tender age of 1. That being said, we didn’t have any problems, we just didn’t feel that the toddler room was the right fit for us. I plan to bring our daughter back at some point, especially for the pre-school program!

Not impressed. Where the school may be OK, I was confronted with a very unfriendly welcoming and even some snarky comments by the lady at the front desk who gave us the tour and answered our questions. It’s really too bad to give us such a bad vibe from the start and it ruined our experience there. No follow up call or email was made by them either. Very surprising behavior compared to the other three preschools we visited. — R. DeGroff

My daughter has been attending Castle Academy for the past year after spending the previous year at Castle Pines Academy. We moved her to be closer to home since we had just purchased a house in the Meadows. We were concerned about taking her away from a comfort zone but we so pleased to see how warmly she was welcomed, it was as if she had been going here all along. The staff is wonderful and the owner, Joel is such a nice person. She has since moved up to another class and has made so many friends and has had consistency with her instructors, which we feel is so critical. I would gladly recommend Castle Academy to anybody searching for a great pre-school for their child.

Castle Academy is amazing. My son is thriving there both educationally and emotionally. The teachers are amazing and the owners truly care about the kids(and their families.) We sent our older son to other preschools in Castle Rock and none compare. It’s also much more affordable than most of the other schools I’ve researched. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CA to any parent I know.

This place is worth every dollar. They are the only child care in the area that had zero reports of code violations. The teachers are great. Our son has benefitted so much from his 3.5 years there. Very organized and professional and it is run by a husband and wife and has a great community feel. This school exceeds all your other options hands down.
