Jim provided us excellent service when our vehicle needed a tire change on I 5. He was courteous and prompt and efficient and we really appreciated his efforts!

After a tire failure on my way back up north, I called AAA and they sent a technician named Bobby to help me out. Bobby could have towed my car to the nearest Walmart but it was late at night and the auto-​center was obviously closed. Instead, Bobby brought me to a nearby 24 hr tire center where I was able to fix the tire quickly and inexpensively. This technician displayed professionalism and warmth and gave me recommendations as if the car was his own. Thank you, Bobby.

I called triple AAA, due to my truck battery needing a jump start. «Bobby» with Golden state towing arrived very quickly to my location. He’s the big guy with the pretty eyes. He helped me out with my battery replacement. Very professional, friendly, and courteous. He provided me with OUTSTANDING service! I would definitely reccommend them for any service they provide. :)

We had problems with our 32f motorhome and the driver «Robert» was excellent, friendly and took very good care of our M/​H. Towed it to our service depart. No problems!

This isn’t for the truck driver he was so friendly and helpful, really amazing! Don’t call them when you need a tire changed if it is not covered by AAA. They charged me over $ 300 to have the tire on my trailer of my boat changed (I had the spare tire it just needed to be changed), really?! I have a friend that had to be towed over 50 miles once (from Woodland hills to Manhattan Beach) because it wasn’t covered by her AAA and it cost her $ 175 (of course I heard the story after). How does changing a tire that requires them to go 15 miles to get to me and takes less time, cost $ 315. It is my fault for believing that this is how much it was going to cost any place I called (since they were one of the places AAA recommended). I regret not calling somewhere else (actually I just wish I knew my boat wasn’t included in my AAA coverage I would have paid for the difference). Maybe I am wrong and that is the going rate but everyone I tell the story to says I got ripped off! And a google search for tire change service by a tow truck generally says around $ 75 (that sounds reasonably even $ 175 but over $ 300, it is just robbery)!

This afternoon, my car inexplicably overheated and AAA dispatched Golden State Towing to get me off the road and to O’Reilly’s for oil.
Then briefly back on the road, my car’s temperature gauge rocketed to red in less than 2 minutes as soon as we merged onto I-​5 N, leaving us stranded– again.
Despite a surge in road rescues because of the 106-​degree temperature outside (probably 120 degrees in the car), Golden State responded as quickly as possible and towed us back– free of charge– 18 miles to a AAA diagnostic center despite my bare-​bones AAA membership only giving us a 5-​mile towing limit.
Golden State towed us twice at that distance, no out-​of-​pocket.
Polite, responsive and very helpful especially since I was trying to comfort my sobbing, overheated and very stressed little boy, I give Golden State Towing a huge thank you for their service.
And to the SCORES and SCORES of truckers in their 18-​wheelers whizzing past us and even slowing in traffic while my sobbing little boy and I stood on the shoulder because it was TOO HOT to be in the car as the thermometer spiked despite the danger of exiting our car next to that fast-​moving freeway:

I hope some of you long-​liners are reading this and feel an appropriate level of shame for leaving a desperate mother and crying little boy on the side of the freeway.
A Good Samaritan driver eventually pulled over and we stayed in his air-​conditioned car for 45 minutes until our tow arrived. Blessings to him.

We called AAA after getting a flatire on the 5 North and they sent Golden State Towing. Our driver was Tony. He was so friendly, funny, and helpful. He recommended a cheap, fast place for us to be towed to and have our tire replaced (Benny’s Tire). We were very happy with everything

My clutch gave out on the grapevine around 12:30am in a construction zone. Ray from GST was great. He was professional, calm and friendly. Towed my car to Honda & even found me a hotel nearby. Only wish AAA’s service would have been as good.

I wouldnt have these guys tow my peice of crap car this company is one of the worse. and they have a triple A contract so if Golden State comes to tow your car when you call triple A i would request another company.

I wrecked my car on the Grapevine during a storm, and this company was great. The driver was prompt and safe and walked me through the insurance claim process when I clearly did not know how such a thing worked. He even held an umbrella for me while walking me to my car to collect my things for the rental vehicle (a rental the company set up for me), and he reminded me of things I may need to take with me. «Is that your checkbook?» he asked, looking at my mileage notebook on the dash. It was great to feel someone was looking out for me during a very high adrenaline moment. I hope never to wreck on the Grapevine again, but I certainly am glad to refer Golden State Towing & Auto Repair to anyone challenged out there on the I-​5.
