They’ve got mud. They’ve got obstacles. They’ve got more mud!!! They’ve got food trucks. They’ve got sponsor tents. They’ve got a great view of the Lake. They’ve got thousands of people swarming to observe, cheer on, and compete in this dirty and fun competition!!! This is our first mud run/obstacle course, so we opted to only enter our children as guinea pigs… or as dirty, muddy pigs. The shuttle transportation was an ever-so-fancy yellow school bus from the dusty weed-filled dirt parking lot.($ 10 parking) Overall a fun time. I’d do one for sure in the future. They do have an awards ceremony for those hyper-human Ninja Warrior types. However, it’s not an overdone spectacle that makes all of the other racers feel badly about themselves. The overall theme of the day is fun.
