Food is made fresh and very affordable. The white sauce and fried rice keep me coming back. Definitely a great hibachi option when you are in a hurry or don’t feel like paying much.

We love this place and then food is amazing and great portion sizes as well. We go once a week and it is always good and then remember us and are orders.

My wife and I got takeout from there a few times when we were living more on that side of town. Really enjoyed the food quality and value. That’s a very rare combination nowadays.

I heard that this place was really good but I was disappointed. The food came out quickly but I wouldn’t say that it is the best quality. The service is just OK and the place was dingy. I would only recommend for take out! Price was cheap but for the same price I’d rather have Kyoto.

Heard this place was great… Eh, it’s not. I’m not a fan of Kobe either, but this place– you get what you pay for. Cheap. Best choice– Hokkaido on Red Bug.

Great place to pickup dinner on the go. Usually get a couple rolls, always ready on time and good price.

Best white sauce ever! The prices are reasonable and the quality is delicious. If you choose them, you have to try their hibachi dishes!

Pretty darn good for fast food sushi! I got the volcano roll and spicy tuna roll to go, and they were fresh and tasty. I’d come back and try their hibachi too!

Meh. I’ve experienced better… yep the sums it up. I am a usual of Japan Express in winter park, but was near Hibachi, so decided to give them a try. Simple order of Vegetable hibachi dinner… asked because I didn’t see on menu«it doesn’t come with noodles?» «$ 2 more»… hmm ok. So now over $ 10 is my meal. Also asked no onions… when given bag opened up and there is no soup or salad(which you get at Japan Express, and cheaper) and no rice… I wanted the noodles AND rice, cmon. Left disappointed, took home. Yes there was an onion in it. White sauce was good but will not be returning… if in the area go to Japan Express, much better.

I was a little disappointed by this place. I had seen the previous reviews and was a bit excited to try this place. My boyfriend and I came here and placed our order and sat down at a table. About 15 – 20 mins later, out food came out. I ordered the filet mignon and chicken and my boyfriend ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp. Both looked amazing and they also had white sauce to go on it. However, looks can be deceiving. The meat was ok but lacked an ingredient called taste. It was so bland! I thought the white sauce would help, but it didn’t. It was a bit bland as well. Guess I’ll stick to my two go-to’s for hibachi from now on(Kobe and Urban Hibachi).

I gave Hibachi Express 4 stars for three reasons. It’s healthy, fresh and convenient for lunch. This is my number 1 lunch time go to, their food is cooked hibachi style and many people would describe their hibachi as similar to Kobe without the prices and it is fantastic– you get so much food. I always get the shrimp hibachi, I love the vegetables and the ginger sauce. I’ve never been a fan of any white sauces on foods, in my opinion they are too heavy. Yet the white sauce is very delicious and gives the food an even better flavor. I’ve also had their green tea mochi, very standard but good. Bry had the fried eel roll and says he loves their sushi. Overall my lunch time treat.

Food was good. Apparently the rude lady that everyone talks about still works there… not friendly at all! A smile would work wonders for the business!

I love this place! It’s Chinese fast food with the quality of a hibachi style Chinese restaurant. We ordered 2 orders of Hibachi chicken with rice and a Honolulu roll. The food was spectacular; I couldn’t get enough. The service was what you would expect from a fast food Chinese place(the employees are indifferent and abrupt) but that’s fine– it’s worth it. The pricing was about right as well; we paid $ 27 for enough food for leftovers the next day. I give this place my recommendation.

I used to be a huge fan of this place. The sushi is good for the price and they are pretty fast. They serve sushi and hibachi with your choice of meat with the Kobe style white sauce. They also have soups and salads, the menu has a lot of choices. The restaurant itself is clean and the service is OK. I wanted sushi and didn’t want to drive too far so I placed my order over the phone using their online menu. They said my order would be ready in 15 – 20 mins which was perfect. I figured for roughly $ 13 for 2 different types of rolls was not bad. When I went to pick up the order I was charged about $ 17. The thing is the menu online does not have the current prices. The customer service person told me that they increased their prices and refused to honor the posted prices online. The sushi rolls were OK, not bad but I have had better. I got the Alaska roll which is salmon with eel sauce I believe and the Philadelphia roll. I was craving sushi that day and it did the job. I probably will not be returning there because not only was the sushi OK but I have an issue with paying more than what was posted online. For $ 17 I could have gone to better sushi spot and gotten at least 3 different types of rolls. My advice to anyone wanting to check out this place when calling make sure you ask for the current prices as they are not posted online.

This is one of my favorite local places to eat. The food is always cooked fresh, tastes fresh, and restaurant is always clean. I have only ever gotten the hibachi chicken, because it is just that good, which comes with your choice of white or fried rice and veggies. Their white sauce is comparable to Kobe’s white sauce. Prices are extremely reasonable, and the portions are huge! Roughly $ 8 for a meal, with leftovers. By far one of the best Asian restaurants around. Has been a favorite of mine since I moved to Florida in 2009.

Read the reviews so I tried it. After eating two lunches a week at Tokyo Tapas in Oviedo, I was extremely disappointed. Wilted old salad leaves only. No veggies in the salad. Didn’t eat it. The hibachi chicken and fried rice was okay, and I’m guessing the hibachi sauce is full of MSG and whatever other chemicals to make it taste acceptable. I’m spoiled from the other place. No iced tea… Only fountain drinks. Lady behind the counter was not friendly. Oh well… I will not return.

AMAZING is the only way to describe this place. Hibachi chicken, steak, shrimp. Sushi rolled just for you. Has about 10 tables, good prices and tons of parking. It’s across the street from home depot.

Im not sure what they put in the food here. Meth, opiates, something addicting. because this place serves up some tasty food that you cant get enough of. You wouldnt come here for the ambiance. Nothing fancy, just a few booths and if I recall your food is served on styrofoam plates. We’ve only eaten there once, all the other times have been take out. Their white sauce is great, but their ginger, ah, not so much. I prefer Kobes ginger. The atmosphere is just ok, but since the food is so good I bumped it up to 4 stars. Especially since we get take out 99% of the time. So it doesnt really matter.

How bout some Hibachi? When i want a quick, delicious, no frills, inexpensive, almost-kobe(white sauce-included) meal… i come here. Lunch specials are great all under $ 10. Fried or steamed rice, choice of meat, and egg roll, soup, or ginger salad. I usually go with the chicken or hibachi steak. The salmon is also good and cooked right. Never over done. The tempura is also cooked to a non-greasy crip. There’s some sushi as well but i don’t usually get it. If you want noodles… you can get it for the dinner prices. I only go to the«other» restaurant during birthdays anyway… but i would gladly come here for the food ANY time!
