Huddle Bar & Grill

If you are from out of town, do yourself a favor and stop by. Good deals on fresh food (the burgers looked great) and the staff is very friendly. In the back corner of the bar are some slot machines if your feeling lucky. Healthy beer selection and full bar available too. I will definitely visit again!

Good food and service. Nice extensive menu. My only qualm is location but there isn’t much to do about that. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars no problem.

Not impressed. very loud.She got the ribeye sandwich and was like shoe leather and my huddle steak sandwich was just so so. Not sure where the other reviewers have eaten but not a positive experience.

Great place to take the kids. We ordered the tenderloin kabobs (yum) with asparagus spears (good, but the ends were VERY woody), the huddle burger (delicious), chicken bites (just frozen chicken fingers, enough to satisfy my picky child), and the peanut bacon burger (very underwhelming, the burger was tiny and well done instead of med rare like I had ordered, but I ate it all anyway haha). All in all, this place is worth a try. Nice and loud so the kids can yell and no one notices. The wait staff is very attentive, checking in just enough.

Great menu with a fun atmosphere. I feel like I’m eating upscale good in a hometown bar. It’s a win win with the creative flair to the food coupled with affordability! I love Huddle and you will too!

I wanted to love this place, however the food was average. The steak kabobs were tiny. Fried mushrooms were ok. That being said, the Server was very attentive and the service was quick!

Huddle Bar & Grill is a located in a small strip mall located at the intersection of South Morrison & Caseyville Rd just across the street from Collinsville High School. While its relatively new in terms of other bar and grills in town, its reputation is well established considering that the owner spent 14 years working at the iconic Fast Eddie’s Bön-​Air in Alton. Huddle Bar & Grill is uniquely its own experience when compared to Fast Eddie’s however by no means is it lesser in quality.
The menu here consist of sandwiches, wraps, salads, pizza and several daily specials. Prices here are reasonable, with a New York strip steak special served on Thursday nights for only $ 9.99. On my visits I happened to stop in on a Saturday for lunch and went with a steak sandwich served on a soft pretzel roll, the steak was perfectly cooked as request and not so thick to where it was difficult to eat without cutting. While my sandwich was served with chips or fries, however I upgraded to the sweet potato fries which were drizzled lightly with honey, they were perfect and delicious. I cant wait to come back and try the pizza.
The inside is large and spacious with a number or tables, booths, and a large bar area. I counted nine tv’s scattered around so you are sure to catch every play of any game while dining. During the day the atmosphere is much more casual focusing on the grill however I can image the later you stick around it leaning much more towards the bar crowd. Much like every other bar in Illinois there is no smoking here, so if you want to smoke you will have to step outside.
Overall Huddle Bar & Grill is a solid choice, and while I didn’t experience it I can say that during peak hours the small parking lot could become an issue and might even force you to park outside of the lot or across the street.

Where to start…
Food– my fish tacos were really good! My daughter had a salad that was not good at all the dressing was off. Everyone at the table tried it. Something was off. My son got a grilled cheese and the cheese was not melted. three pieces of cheese loose on some toast. My wife got a pulled pork sandwich and it came out as a pork steak sandwich. It was cold and she didn’t take but one bite… No one asked if there was anything wrong.
The staff– the one girl looked like she just came from the gym. This theory was confirmed by the 80 Crossfit friends that surrounded her. As more came in more kisses and ass grabbing (literally) was entertained by the woman who’s paws finally brought my food out after 65 min.
The atmosphere– 4 TVs one on each wall. Came to watch the NFL playoffs and they decided to change all of them to the blues game. I’m a blues fan but damn, it’s the playoffs! Then, my daughter and her boyfriend were on a supervised date and one of the servers made them sit with us… Kinda ruined their date.
My experience deserved one star, but this place has potential. If they can keep the quality of the food up even when their busy and they can control their wait staff. I personally won’t be back.

Tried Huddle’s based on Unilocal recommendations. Definitely NOT disappointed. Tried the steak sub w/​fries. Very nice. Huge selection of beers caught my attention. Bartender Leah is very nice and answered every question I had concerning Huddle. Highly recommended and I’ll be back.

It was Thursday night special Ribeye Dinner for $ 9.99. I was concerned that the steak would be small or fatty but was very pleased with it. Nice attentive staff and a good value.

Great service, food was amazing, very clean place. Make sure you bring quarters to play the old video games. I ordered the wings and can I just say they are the best wings I have ever had. The burgers are huge and juicy.

They take bar food to another level. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his recommendation was the Sizzler Burger. It was delicious! The perfect blend of thin sliced ribeye, seasoned beef patties, grilled onions, provolone cheese on a Toasted Pretzel Bun. The White Bacon Pizza and the Fried Pickles were awesome. And don’t forget the $ 3.00 Margarita… Another Hidden Gem on the Illinois side of the river. I cannot wait to drop in for lunch. @stlmetrofoodie

We saw a FB post about the steak special, so met up with some family members. Almost everyone in the place was having the special, a 12 – 14 oz handcut New York strip steak.
The steak was very well-​seasoned with the owner’s special marinade. Perfectly cooked. We also had the Cheesy Jalepeno Hash Brown bites… very tasty. Our niece had the flatbread, which she really enjoyed.
The menu has a lot of variety, the owner is very friendly, and we will definitely be back often!

The food and atmosphere are amazing. Feels like hanging out with friends. The entire staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. They have amazing daily specials and just ordering off the menu has some great choices. Had the WTF burger. All you got to do is try it and you will know how it gots its name.

Place is awesome. Atmosphere is great, place you can take your kids for dinner, or go to have a few drinks with friends. Plenty of tvs. Would recommend to anyone

Stopped by for Saturday lunch. Not the typical bar food menu. I had the sizzler and wife had Philly. Mine was sort of like a patty melt but on a pretzel bun. Wife’s Philly had so much on it she ate it with knife and fork. Both were very good.
Really good beer and drink selection.
Appeared very clean and maintained.
Server was very friendly and attentive. She deserves a 10 star.
We’ll be back.

Awesome food and amazing owners and service! The ribeye sandwich is mouth watering and the jalapeño hash brown bites are my all time favorite! This place is a must! Beer is always cold too!

First time in, but not the last. I had the burger minus egg minus pretzel bun. It was great! Not a fan of double coated fries or whatever they are so didn’t enjoy those. Place is semi-​noisy and it’s not even 7pm and this place is half full. Could use more noise reduction material. Enjoy the tv’s all over! Colors and décor are very nice. Wait staff was awesome! Food came out quick.

Truly deserving– and my Illinois people need some more love.
We stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon–
If anyone had been when it was Jacks Place– HOLY COW, the difference!
They totally remodeled!!! and it was totally worth it.
It looks so much better– its so open, the bar is huge– however a little dim.
The bartender– (maybe owner) Tom– told us the next day they were adding a few TV’s over the bar– that will be cool
Now onto the food–
they had a couple specials– and was one a bacon wrapped porkchop (?) sandwich– DH got it– and he loved it.
I ordered the chicken ranch philly–
Now— the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars– was because they were out of FRIES.
and if you know me, you know my love for FRIES– my heart was immediately broken and smashed on the floor– ugh! no fries? whats a girl to do?
so I settled on the homemade potato chips– which were good, but. they were not fries… obviously.
My sandwich was huge, and delish… but not edible with hands– the flavoring was perfect–
we ordered the friend mushrooms– which were HUGE— I prefer the smaller ones– but whatever– if they are THAT big, they need to be stuffed.
I am definitely excited to come back and try something else on the menu.
This was really a cute place– and the bartender was friendly.
We will return— and probably soon.
