Red Nails

I have never loved my experiences here, but nothing was ever enough to keep me from coming back. I come to this salon because it’s close to my house, so it’s convenient when I don’t have a lot of time.
I went in last week and saw they were kind of busy so I decided to come back later in the day as they suggested. When I came back they told me 15 minutes, I waited because I desperately needed a manicure and wouldn’t have another chance to come back. I sat for over 40 minutes — partly my fault for sitting so long, but that is unacceptable. They were not that slammed and someone could have at least gotten me started but it seemed they were more interested in hounding the customers they did have trying to get them to add more services — very uncomfortable to listen to. Finally I got up and went to the nail place in the shopping center across the street where they took me right away and charged me much less. I will not attempt to go to Red Nails again.

My girlfriend introduced me to this place. She made an appointment for the 3 of us. For some reason they did not sit us together. They knew this and did nothing to fix it so they left us sitting across from each other left to yell across.
Next, the water was scalding! I couldn’t put my feet in until they ran cold in it for a good 3 minutes!
The regular pedicure is $ 28, next up is $ 35 (I chose this bc I would get a 10 min massage v 5 and a scrub). My under 10yr old daughter, they charged me $ 23 for her!!! I would swear I have been charged less at Tre and they have specialty chairs with DVD players, etc.
The massage was so light pressure I should have saved my money! Honestly, I can paint my own nails when I go to get a pedicure this is the part I really, really look forward too and it was blah! When she went to rinse the scrub/​soap off my legs she never tested the water. Molten lava was shooting out of it straight onto my leg!!! I screeched and jumped! She knew I was sensitive to heat!
My daughter was so excited she was getting her toes done and they offered to put a design on her toes. They offered a snowflake… well it ended up looking like a white flower, just white dots. I could see she was disappointed but trying not to let it show.
Finally I get my holly jolly red color done and I even wore my little toe separators out the door! I can’t stand it when my toes smudge! Well, I didn’t really need to worry about that. The lady painting my nails had painted my skin too! And she never filed my nails after she cut them! I could feel them pulling and hanging on my sheets!!! I had to break out my nail files and fix my nails once I got home!
It was nice to have a girls day but maybe next time we will try a different place! Or got to lunch.

Ewwww what just happened?!
I read all the high reviews and now I’m just confused. Upon walking in, the place looks nice itself until you turn to the nail polish display. Totally disappointing as most of the colors look used and empty.
I wanted just a regular mani pedi this time– something to spruce myself up after getting the house ready for the in-​laws and not only was I not relaxed, but nothing was done to give me that ‘spa like feel’. My complimentary leg massage was worse than ok. The chair was broken and only moved forwards and backwards.
At first I was the only person here, then two other customers (friends) walked in who 1. Don’t understand a whisper and 2. Were sat right next to me when there are plenty of other pedicure chairs open.
THEN the very nice woman who was working on my toes hacked a huge loogie into the waste paper basket. I just can’t!
I got my pedicure finished because it was half way done (please don’t judge me fellow Unilocalers) but bounced out of there deciding not to do my mani.
I’ll be more willing to try other nail places that may be a bit more of a drive but provide a better, cleaner experience… Right after I clean my feet in a bucket of Purell

Did a good job but they are misleading about how much time you will have to wait if you are a walk-​in. Beware if they tell you ‘just 5 minutes’. My 5 minute wait turned into 25 minutes. I wish they would have just been honest and not mislead me.

Awful! Don’t waste your money. Overpriced and rude. The gentleman in there is rude and nasty. Don’t even think about bringing your kids in because he is genuinely annoyed. I almost walked out. The lady doing my manicure filed my nails crooked and I sat there and fixed myself. There are so many nicer places to go that you are just wasting money to be treated rudely.

I’ve been in before, but not recently. The prices have changed, which is understandable. However, on my last visit the technician added a design on my toe. I didn’t ask for it and was surprised to be charged 5 $ for it. When I paid, they insisted I had asked. the woman next to me asked twice for a design stating it was flip flop season and she wanted a design. I did not ask for one… I should have stopped her, but I thought it might be something they now offered in the increased price. I wasn’t happy about it ans the language barrier made it even more difficult. I don’t like to cause a ruckus, so I paid and was on my way… I will not be returning, it’s not so much the extra charge as its the principle. and I thought it unprofessional the way they handled it. For a mere 5 $, they lost a customer. plenty of other places to go.
Upon leaving my technician gave me a discount for future service since I paid cash. She did not speak English so I asked a male technician to explain it. I then told him I would not be back because of the design charge. He then refunded the 5 $.which was a shock because the prior two women that I spoke to ignored me… I’m appreciative that he refunded the cash, however, the whole thing just didn’t go down the right way… I’m felt very gross after this, and it should have been a fun experience.

Awesome service, great ambiance, and friendly staff is the reason I drive 40mins for my mani/​pedi. I recommend you try it!!!

I have been going to Red Nails for over a year now. Khan and Kim are the best! It’s clean, friendly and my nails look great! I won’t go anywhere else!

I came in last night (Saturday) after calling to make sure it was okay to come in at 7, when they close at 730. I do not advise it because they do such a great job and you’ll end up staying way past closing. I will definitely return, but with proper time so I don’t keep someone past closing!
First off, I got a $ 2 gift certificate for paying with cash.
Secondly, Hannah, the manicurist, was so sweet. She did the best job I have ever seen. She was thorough and didn’t cut any corners, she massaged my head and neck while my nails dried and then massaged my hands after they were dry!!!
It was great. I recommend Hannah and Red Nails! I have already recommended strangers because they have given compliments.

This is my go-​to salon for a mid-​week indulgence! I love the ability to sit back, relax and unwind with a glass of wine, compliments of the salon, of course! Letting my hands and feet get the treatment they deserve from soaking and exfoliating and massaging and… and. more massaging! All the while listening to the most carefully selected and nostalgic playlist!
I always get the mani pedi combo since it’s only $ 10 more to add a mani and I’ve never had a problem getting a matching gel color to my toes! Oh, colors galore!
And on top of it all, not only do my hands, feet and legs get a relaxing massage like most salons, but my neck and shoulders get some attention as well. To think that they only focused on your nails is foolish. I always leave here, a happy and rejuvenated customer. I can’t wait to come back soon!

Best pedicure ever! :) very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. And they offer wine! They also take reservations. The leg/​foot massages are the best. Prices are very competitive as well!

Wonderful experience! Relaxing and enjoyable. Hanna, Anna and Khanh were great. The salon was clean and love that they welcomed us in and didn’t rush even as we arrived 10 minutes before closing time.

Went here because another place was closed. Really just wanted to relax being 9 months pregnant to my surprise I got an amazing manicure & pedicure. Ana took her time with me. Very detailed, great massage. Polished looked great, just did simple colors no gel or no acrylics today for me. Complimentary drink. Very nice staff. Prices were great. $ 45 for medium level pedicure (basic, medium, & deluxe) plus basic manicure. They have stone options too. Highly recommend … Will be back after this little one arrives :)

Great time with the girls! They accommodated 6 of us. This is the second time we’ve done a girls night and the first time they opened especially for us! A glass of wine and some great convo with the staff… What a great experience and out nails look amazing!

My friend & I had had our toenails done here while on vacation, and while they were very nice, the polish looked like my toddler had applied it. The guy that did my pedicure didn’t even bother to clean up the edges.
If I didn’t already live hundreds of miles away, I would not go back here. Too expensive for the shoddy job.

Terrible! they rushed through my manicure and ripped my cuticles are bleeding and swollen. didn’t.sanitize tools before next customer either!
