I had two queen size quilts and two memory quilts made from my sons clothes and sports t– shirts. I was told to send my clothes so I washed everything and sent a big box if clothes and t shirts for both boys. One queen size quilt was fine, no problems. The other queen size quilt had one t shirt with the letters peeling off. I left it up to Juliane which shirts of the many that I sent to use for the quilts. When I received the quilts I called emailed Juliane to tell her that one of the shirts had letters falling off. She said maybe I could just glue than back on. If you have ever had old t shirts with letters falling off you know that you cannot glue them back on with any luck. I wrote several times and she offered no other alternative. I finally just packed up the quilt and put it away. My son married last summer and at Christmas this past year I wanted to give my son the quilts. I unfolded the quilt and the shirt with the letters falling off was in worse shape. More letters where coming off. My new daughter in law noticed it right away and wanted to know what was wrong with it. I contacted Julianne and I was really upset that something that meant so much to me was coming apart. She did not offer to help but said she would talk with her store manager. Julianne owns the shop so she can do what she wants to. She came back and told me that for $ 65 dollars they could try to repair the quilt. She said that I had been rude to her and if I had not been she would have done it at no cost. She said it was my fault because I had sent the shirt to her. I explained that I had no problem with her using the shirt but I would have thought she would have used the portion of the shirt that was in good condition for trim or whatever. I paid lots of money for these quilts and I did it because I had had cancer a few years back and was worried that if the cancer returned I would not be here to share the clothes. Juliane was aware of that. I realize it was 5 years since I had the quilts made but I contacted her immediately when I originally received the quilts and again when I unpacked them to give to my son and his wife. I cannot recommend this quilt maker. She Made me feel that it was my fault that the mistake was made and then offered no recourse but to pay her more money to correct my quilt. I thought about paying the $ 65 dollars to her but the way she made me feel made me afraid something would go wrong and my quilt would have more problems which I am sure would have been my fault as well. I guess that old saying«buyer beware» is true in this case A very dis satisfied customer.
