Worst service ever. I’ve never not left a tip until tonight. I ordered a salad and it took 45 minutes to come out — that was 20 minutes after the rest of the table received their food. My son’s hamburger was a hockey puck on top of a bun that was pure mush. Never got a single drink refill and had to ask for the bill for 20 minutes after the table was cleared. Only saw our actual waitress once or twice the entire 2 hours it took to actually get our food and eat.

I don’t know that I have ever left a 1 star rating, but none of my regular haunts today was close to the worst service one could imagine. We eventually had to have the manager bring our food but even then service was abysmal. Apparently the manager is new and potentially that is where the fault lies, but another visit like tonight and it’ll be my last one… It was that bad.

The potato soup used to be good. Today the potatoes where raw in the soup. They did take it off the bill.

I can understand why people like it, but it was another restaurant, like many others, had kind of a higher end Carrows or CoCo’s feel to it. The food was good, the service was good, it was ll pretty much what you expected. Don’t get me wrong, I love southern hospitality and I love southern cooking, but the ordinary isn’t quite a good as the exceptional. This is still a fine establishment, it was just everything you would expect and nothing all that special.

When we arrived, was told the wait would be 10 minutes. We asked if we could set at the tables in the bar. «No they are on the wait list too». After our ten minute wait we were seated in the bar was we requested! Wait staff was very good but rushed as they seemed to be short staffed.

Not exactly a review. I recently visited the Cary O’Charley’s location and had a quick dinner. One item came late and the manager came over and gave it to us for free. That seems to be a theme. I am wondering however, why they do not post their prices on their online menu? Disappointed in this.

Great deal right now where two can dine for $ 25 and get prime rib, an appetizer and a side. Food came out hot. Meat was tender and fried pickle chips were hot and crispy. Server was attentive. Restaurant was clean and pretty quiet at 4 pm. Good spot to fill up on good quality food.

Stayed at the hampton inn next door while visiting last weekend and after traveling, we were starving. So instead of driving to look for something, we walked over to o’charleys! We don’t have one where we live. Hubby had never been, and I went once to a rock hill location. We were both satisfied with what we received and paid for! They were on a wait, and the host staff seemed slightly unorganized, but regardless, with just two of us, it was a short wait. We were seated and greeted by a very friendly young lady named Victoria. She was efficient and quick and kept a smile on her face even though there was a… challenging table of diners next to us. Rolls were perfectly warm and soft and although I should have turned them down, we were so hungry we gladly accepted a second basket of them. Hubby got the dip sandwich that I tried a bite of. Really decent amount of meat on there for the price, and he was able to substitute a big bowl of potato soup instead of the french fries. I ordered a crispy chicken with honey southern dish with mashed potatoes and a side of steamed broccoli and it was a lot of food, I never thought I would be able to finish it all, especially after all the rolls, but I enjoyed every last bite. I regretted not saving room for a slice of pie since I know it’s one of the things they’re famous for. Will have to remember to save room next time!!!

Everyone was thoroughly satisfied with their selections. Two added bonuses were that they were one of the few restaurants open on Christmas Eve and it was free pie Wednesday. We’re glad we stumbled onto it. Service was also great!

Sat at the bar on a random Wednesday. Shey took care of me. Service was excellent. Beers were cold and steak was fresh and tasty. If I ever come back to Raleigh I will surely make this a stop.

There are not that many O’Charleys anymore in the triangle, but this one does get a little business. The last time I stopped in the place was dead, but that might have been due to the time of day. I have been other times, and they were busier. I really loved the chicken tenders that they have. They have been the freshest chicken tenders that I have had in a very, very long time. They started selling a prime rib entrée on the weekends only. The server said that it was popular, and tends to sell out. If you show up on Wednesday, then they give everybody that dines in free pie.

I have been to this O’Charley’s location twice. The first time wasn’t so great as we had gone on Valentine’s Day. After our plans fell through at a difference restaurant, this was the only restaurant we could find in the area that wasn’t crazy busy. We were sat after waiting about 15 minutes at a booth in the corner next to the fire exit. That booth was so cramp that the table came right to our stomachs. There was no need to put the napkin on our laps because there was no room for the food to fall on our laps anyways. The second time we went was on a Wednesday a few months after. Wednesdays evidently is Pie Day at O’Charley’s, which is great. Who wouldn’t want a free slice of pie. As for the food, keep in mind that this is a standard American family fare restaurant serving standard American fare food. That being said, the food was alright, a bit too salty for my liking but still edible. I had the steak and it was cooked to the perfect medium rare liked I ordered. The Key Lime pie here is a little wonky but the peach pie is superb. I think we’ll definitely come here again mostly because of it’s reasonably prices and the close proximity to where we live.

If we’re talking chain restaurants, O’Charley’s is one of my favorites. Their rolls are always warm, fluffy and delicious. You can find both healthy and gluttenous options on the menu and they give you free pie on Wednesdays. What’s not to like?

O’Charley’s…another chain. With my reviews, when I’m rating chains, I’m more so rating the service at the particular location rather than the food… as you usually know what you’re getting when you go to one of these places. I work VERY close to this O’Charley’s and have ordered lunch for either myself or a bunch of coworkers here to-go. And honestly…9 times out of 10, there’s something wrong with the order. Don’t get me wrong, I know they’re busy and I’m coming during the lunch rush, and I have a bunch of orders at one time… but you think, you’d HOPE that your order would still work out every now and then. Either there’s part of an entrée missing or the wrong meat is given(fried chicken given instead of grilled), or the wrong salad dressing… I mean, come on! The only saving grace is that when we call to complain, the manager drives out to our office to give us the missing items… if I had a choice though, I’d go to a different O’Charley’s. They have good food and awesome rolls.
