Yes, it might be nice if the fiction section were alphabetical but I think most of us have a half dozen authors we look for and when we go to a big book store or the library, you end up browsing anyway. I like that there is no Starbucks and no blaring music! So what have we left, folks? We have(ready?) BOOKS! Lots ‘n lots of books! And QUIET! And nice staff! And good prices! Go for it!

Done in a very time efficient way. I got 21 $ in spite credit. I bought an ASL book for school. It had a huge variety and very reasonable prices

Decent selection of books, but prices are higher than others in the area(and in the area of their Raleigh location). They also offer much less than others when buying back.

There are quite a few books to pick from, and they are all in great condition. Fiction paperbacks are $ 3, and most hard covers are $ 4. The girl who has been working the register the few times I’ve been in has always been ok towards me, but I’ve heard her be extremely rude and bossy towards customers who are either trying to sell books(«Put that box on the floor. Get it off the counter.”/“We stopped taking used books to Goodwill 4 years ago. Take them yourself» etc), or just have questions while trying to use their store credit towards purchases. It’s very uncomfortable to shop while you’re listening to customers be treated so disrespectfully and wonder if you’re going to receive that type of treatment when you check out. I go back because of the prices and book quality, but it’s sad that I have to stay quiet and not ask questions for fear of setting off the beast of an employee.

It’s a tiny bookstore(which is fine), but the fiction section is the only part organized. The person working said it would be ”too hard” to alphabetize the nonfiction sections. Are you kidding me?! Wouldn’t it be easier to shelve books if they’re all in some kind of order? This store is a joke.

What a fantastic find! I have shopped this store for years(they recently moved to bigger location which is nice). The store is inviting and staff are friendly. They have a good selection of used books, although Each time Ive been there people have come in to sell their books(for cash vs trading them in for store credit) and seemed displeased with the price they were given by the store for the books. The prices on the books they sell are reasonable(3 – 5 $) usually. Not as inexpensive as books at a goodwill but a better selection! The books are in good condition and they have the store arranged nicely. The idea of trading in books for store credit is nice and tends to be a better investment than selling your books outright for cash to them. I love that you can find good books, even recently released books, and its not a big chain store. A great small business and a very nice way to spend an hour browsing for a good book !
