Pretty much just your average typical McDonalds. Service is either good or bad, orders are wrong about 50% of the time, cleanliness can vary depending on the time of day and the staff, and the food is either fresh or really cold and old. It’s next to a gas station and at one of the most congested intersections in Cary, so the location is great, but the traffic, not so much.

Worst service ever, not only is it slow but there rude. Go there today and we ordered a steak and egg sandwich that I guess they were out of, don’t tell us and try to put something different in the bag. Then when we go inside to tell them the guy looks over at some lady and tells her, with attitude(not caring we were standing right there) tells him I already told you we don’t have steak cooked and they will have to wait now. Oh and let me tell you we get home open it up and they didn’t even cook the steak and just slapped it on the bagel. This will be the last time we ever buy anything from this place.

I’m sorry but this is the worst McDonalds ever. They are never fully staffed, they never make their specialty coffee drinks the same way, and their frappé/mocha machines are constantly down. Dealt with the manager many times, nothing improves. Many times you will drive up to pay, only to be told then that they don’t have what you want. Pulled in this am, and a sign on the drive thru said«sorry, closed.» The staff was waiting in the parking lot as they had no idea what. They truly give the rest of the McDonalds a bad name.

Yep, the reviews are correct. I ordered a dinner box at the drive through. Then, drive forward to the pay window, paid, then wait. And wait. And wait some more. Finally, some idiot comes to the window and asks me to park. Now, this wouldn’t have been a huge problem, but his tone. Wow. It is like I’m inconveniencing the entire staff with my single order, to which I made no changes. And you can bet they left out the sauce altogether when it finally came, even though I specified it, and it was on the confirmation screen. Oh, and everything was cold. How they managed that, I really don’t know. The McDonalds just off Davis Drive is excellent. This one completely bites. Don’t go here. Ever. Seriously. Just wanted to add that I’ve been frequenting McDonalds for decades now, and I’m a long-term shareholder. So, I’m not a Vegan who never eats here. This place is so bad that I will be contacting Corporate. I am very unhappy, and they need to change or close. Now. Immediately.

Still serving great coffee, and free wi-fi. Breakfast: They do a really nice job with their scrambled eggs. Lunch: A very busy location, and the food is typically at its best. Dinner: The hot food is often luke-warm at best. I’ve taken things back, and been told it won’t happen again, but it does. It’s a great quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee and free wi-fi. I couldn’t recommend this location for dinner, however it’s a good spot for a hectic lunch. *The restrooms are not stocked with paper products, and I’ve noticed most folks don’t seem to wash their hands when leaving. Grabbing the door handle is not for the light hearted. I try to enter with napkins, because I’m not a fan of air-drying only to grab an unsanitary door handle.

I literally asked the drive-thru order taker to ask the kitchen to do less work by omitting sauce from my chicken wrap. «No sauce». So I order the Chicken Wrap Combo with no sauce, and I asked to have a coffee with 2 cream and 4 equal instead of a fountain drink. Person taking my order seemed extremely frazzled by this, pausing intermittently to the point where I actually thought he just walked away from speaking to me through the drive-thru. He kept saying«hold up hold up» although I wasn’t even saying anything beside waiting for him to ask me if I would like anything additional.(which never happened, I had to interrupt the total to ask if I could add more to the order) Eventually, we worked through the complex coffee I was asking for, He said, «that will be $X.XX pull forward» and I had to explain that I wasn’t finished. Then he told me to pull forward to explain the coffee order again in person and tell him what else I would like to add there. I asked the 2nd window guy to double-check no sauce on the wrap, because I had such a problem w the guy taking the order. I didn’t think he heard me. Window #2 kid said he checked it and it was good and apologized. I got home with sauce all over my food, coffee was cold, and I went to bed having only eaten french fries. I was never rude to them and thanked them the whole process and I believe they absolutely, deliberately ruined my meal. The only other thing I added to my order was a 4pc nugget. It wasn’t that complicated but they made it as complicated and awfully wrong as possible. I definitely filled out the online survey from my receipt and will burn additional time and gas to take the sauce-soaked chicken wrap back for the one I ordered and paid for.

I can only review the drive thru here b/c I haven’t been inside in years. The best I can say is that the fries are always fresh and hot. My kids love McDonalds(the local teens have nicknamed this location«Sketch»). & this one is convenient, but def not the best one in Cary. They get our orde wrong so often that we sit at the pick up window and open every single sandwich to see if it’s right. And the McFlurry machine was out of order most of the summer.

Among the worst McDonald’s locations I have ever been to, and that’s saying something. The sanitation score is terribly low, my order is frequently wrong, and the food(especially the chicken) is often soggy and cold even at peak times. Wait times have occasionally been pretty long, with ordering inside being worse. The building itself is pleasant and in a convenient location, but it doesn’t really make up for its faults.

HORRIBLEHORRIBLE customer service!!! The cashier named Anite was extremely rude. First of all, we were in the front of the line waiting for over 10 minutes while she was trying to «fix» something on the cash register. When the lady behind me asked how much longer it was going to be, Anite went off on her. We both were shocked! She said something along the lines of, it’s not my fault, you have to wait, I’m not going to bust my ass for you… etc. I was hoping the manager who was standing behind her putting food on the tray on the counter would apologize to us, and pull her aside to reprimand her, but she said and did NOTHING. Poor leadership I guess. Like I said, I was shocked. I understand that this is McDonalds and they don’t get paid much but still, that is NO way to speak to customers!
