As GameStop is a chain corporation, it depends on the management of the area. Huge positives in this store is their customer service is great, quick, and objective minded towards their customers. What makes this store particular amongst all others is they offer wide variety of games and electronics you require. Thus, I highly recommend people who is around this area to come and visit!

Nothing out of the ordinary for this store. I found service to be quick and courteous. The employees know their selection and know how to engage the customer base. The last review was apparently four years ago and I think their used game policy is much more appreciable now. Guaranteed is guaranteed at Gamestop. I’ve never had any issues with used games and I even returned one because the game wasn’t as I expected.

I bought a used Xbox 360 from this place, and it was a decent deal as far as money was concerned. I got it home, however, and it didn’t work, the power cable had been stripped of wire covering. No problem, I thought, and I brought it back and got a new one without any hassle. Now the next one worked fine for 28 days. On the 29th day(one day before the guarantee on used products expires) it broke. So I made yet another trip to the store, this time hoping for a full refund. When I got there the initial response was that they could only give me another, but after some clamoring I got them to agree to a refund. The problem was they have a policy of issuing large refunds by check; I’ve never heard of anything even remotely like that before, they wouldn’t even refund it to the card I used to purchase it. After some more clamoring I finally got them to agree to a refund, but the problem was I had to come back later in the day. I felt like the employees genuinely wanted to help, but were stuck working within the rules corporate had laid out for them. Eventually they succeeded and resolved the situation for both parties, but if they had checked out the Xboxes properly it never would have happened again. I would feel comfortable buying new games or systems from this store in the future, but I’m going to refrain from buying anything used from them again after this experience.
