Dorcas Dominican Beauty Salon

Found this salon today and I love it! Not too many people know how to deal with my hair and they did a fabulous job! The entire staff was great and the price was very good… will definitely continue to have my hair done here. Every single person that was there and had their hair done while I was there was very happy with their results too and obviously have a lot of repeat customers. Love it!

Horrible Horrible Service! You’re better off finding another salon. I made an appt for 4p to have my hair washed and set (no blow out) Easy Right… waited until 4:30p to get my hair washed. Lady had the cold water on so I asked can she make it warmer… she apologized and said she couldn’t because there was no more hot water because the boiler was bad. I wish I had known that before hand because I wouldn’t have gotten my hair washed in freezing water… is friggin winter time! So now I’m washed and in the chair to have my hair rolled. It took this lady (a different one) almost an hour to roll my hair because she kept leaving and going up front for some reason… smh! I’m finally under the dryer… this is Ridiculous! don’t know what the end result will look like, but I’m not optimistic! I’ll keep you posted, but one thing is for sure… I won’t be coming back here!

While Jasmin was sweet, it is now obvious that color is not her specialty. I am very disappointed in the results, not the effort, but the results are what matter in the end. I am unable to leave my house until I can get another appointment for someone to «correct» the massive color problems. My hair has shades of pink and the foil lines all over are harsh. It is so bad at the hair line that I cannot wear my hear up even just at home! In all of my experience having my hair colored I have never been embarrassed to leave my house. I paid $ 200 of my hard earned money only to have my hair ruined! I expect to be refunded as I am 100% NOT Satisfied. It is unfortunate that this is the case but I did NOT get what I paid for!!! Please let me know when I can expect my refund.
Please tell other walk in clients your salon’s limitations. I asked if the pictures I showed of what I wanted could be done by you and you said absolutely. If you had been honest you would have at least earned respect in my book. Now I am left to have an extremely negative opinion and will certainly have no issue sharing that with everyone I encounter in person and on social media.

Quality Dominican style blow out and cut, fast!

OMG! I’m originally from NY and could not find anyone to do my hair down hair until I found Dorca. She is the best hair stylist I ever had! Her and her husband are extremely professional and specializes in healthy hair. My hair went from a bob to the middle of my back in 7 months. I would recommend this salon to everyone… I’m never leaving!
