This is for the bank in general, not this particular location(although this is where I opened my account). Opening an account has been an excruciatingly difficult process: slow mailing of debit cards/pins, a buggy mobile app, and ridiculous 5 – 10 business day holds on all checks for the first month. This last point in particular is majorly handcuffing when moving here from out of state – I have almost no access to my money as I try to get set up in NC. Lastly, neither the website nor the person I opened my account with were forthright about the fact that all banking is done through electronic tellers. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but had I known I probably wouldn’t have opened an account. Doubtful that I stay with coastal much longer.
