Brothers of New York Pizza

Went for dinner today. Got slice if pizza and Cesar salad. Both were really good. Staff friendly, waited to bring pizza out until I finished salad. Will go back. Nice to have near publix.

The slice is decent. Good crust, bland sauce and cheese.
In my opinion, service acted disrespectful to me and my family.
I won’t be returning. For a better slice/​pie, I’ll travel 5 minutes away to J&S Pizza, which has an Apex location on E Williams St.

Really good authentic NY pizza. Nice outdoor place to sit, even with the battling music from the other restaurants. Definitely one of the better pizza places in the area. I’ll be back.

I’m a NY transplant and I’m so happy to have found a good pizza place here. Service was good, the place was clean and well-​kept. This was my first experience and I ordered there and took out, but I will definitely be back to dine in.

Walk into Brothers of New York Pizza and be surprised by the fact that they have waiter service if you dine in. The large chalkboard menu and the counter make it very easy to just walk up and place your order there. My friend and I made the mistake of ordering at the counter, and I noticed several other groups do the same.
I ordered a slice of Hawaiian pizza and a slice of barbecue chicken pizza. The slices were big enough to justify the ~$ 3.75/slice price. The lunch special of 2 specialty slices and a drink for $ 7.50 is an even better deal, but I didn’t mind paying a similar price at dinner without the drink.
Brothers of NY manages to execute slices that are the perfect balance of thickness and crispiness. SliceTruck in LA is the only other place that I’ve found to do this. The ingredients were of high quality, but unfortunately, the crust was somewhat burnt. Also, they have Texas Pete instead of the vastly superior Tabasco or Sriracha for their hot sauce selection. I still enjoyed my pizza.
A slightly shorter cook time would have made this among the best pizza that I’ve had. Even with the slight burn, I enjoyed the pizza at Brothers of NY. For a quick lunch, or any occasion that calls for pizza, Brothers of NY won’t let you down. But seriously, they should mostly do away with the waiter service. It doesn’t make sense at their restaurant.

Easily the best pizza I’ve ever had! Got a garden salad and it was terrific. Full of spinach, and the honey mustard tested home made. So yummy. Had a square slice of pizza with tomatoes, also great. Pretty quiet for a Saturday night, but I’m not complaining. Definitely worth eating here!

These guys carried the food out to the car in a torrential downpour for my mother-​in-​law. And then the food was awesome! Big portions and super fresh.

I had a calzone here a week ago. It was really large and stuffed full. I had half for dinner with a salad and the other half for lunch the next day. Crust was super crisp too. My only knock would be that I think the mushrooms might have come out of a can/​jar. But they didn’t taste bad or anything. Next time I’m going to try the pizza as it looked awesome when I came in to pick up my order. I will be back!!!

My English Bulldog has his talent of licking a plate completely clean of any trace of food. There is no crumb, no smear of sauce left once he’s done. He does this with such vigor and passion every time we feed him something, it amazes me that he devours anything– he’s not a picky eater.
There have been a few times in my life I have felt such passion towards a specific dish. I can love something but not have the desire to act in such a primal, unsophisticated and socially unacceptable way as to lick my plate clean of any remaining bits of food.
At Brothers of New York I usually go for their pizza, which I love, but after being stranded due to the two inch snowfall, I was eager to get out and feed myself like a bear preparing for hibernation.
Today, I decided to treat myself to a calzone with chicken, green peppers and mushrooms. This thing came out large and in charge, fresh and oozing with cheesy meaty veggie goodness.
This thing is massive and can definitely be shared between two adults with a big appetite (or one very pregnant stir crazy woman!)
The only thing stopping me from licking the plate clean were the other customers, I needed to keep some of my dignity intact.
Very appreciative that Brothers was open the day after the snow fall. So so good!

Great service and food! The pizza is delicious and the meatballs were super. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in New York and they even have Peroni on draft. We will so go back again and it’s good to know that they deliver.

This is my favorite pizza place in North Carolina! We have tried the subs (rolls), pizza and salads. All are outstanding. They also offer delivery within a 5-​mile radius. You should try them and when you do, make sure to try an order of cannelloni. They are the best I have every had!

I have been coming here since the previous owners fuhgheedaboudit and then camps bros owned it. The pizza was great then and great under new ownership.
I have eaten a lot of pizza and this place is at the top of the list. I have not had better pizza. It’s rarely as good. The crust is perfect. Sauce and cheese good as well. We usually get the garden salad. The balsamic dressing is great to dip the crust in. They sell pizza by the slice as well.
The staff is generally helpful and courteous.
Overall, this is the best pizza in the area. I like others but will drive out of way to come here.

Love this place for everything italian! Their pizza is amazing and the special we had was Lobster raviola… to die for! Cary definitely got lucky with this restaurant!

When it comes to pizza I am very picky, but I have found my home away from. The brothers are great Frankie the pizza maker, Johnny the big brother and then Joey, who does a little of everything. The place is great come summer we are outside the server Brett is attentive and friendly. Come and enjoy a slice and a drink.

This is NY style and is excellent. Moved from CT where there are some of the top pizza places like Pepes, this place stacks up well. Even though we got there about 20 minutes before opening on a Sunday, they still sat my family outside and took our order. Very friendly, NC hospitality with NY pizza, a winner all around!

Really good food, reminds me of TRUE NY pizza! The meatballs were so good my daughter would not share. The pizza taste so good I actually ate two slices! The Toni roll and chicken rolls were also good!

I am a New Yorker and this isn’t close to NY pizza, It IS NY pizza! The brothers that own the place are the nicest guys around and always take good care of us. My daughter’s and I meet there for lunch every Sunday and the pizza never disappoints! Brett is our favorite waiter and he knows exactly what we drink and has it ready the minute we sit down.(and the refills keep coming:) Their white pizza is to die for and the calzones are filled to the rim with cheese. We have never had a bad meal and will continue to meet for lunch every weekend:) WE LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE BROTHERS!!!

Probably the best true NY style pizza in southern wake county…
Ordered an extra large pie with meatball topping and 2 order of garlic knots.
First the za, quality!!! The crust is very good, nice cook and not chewy at all even when it got cold. The sauce, you can actually taste the Oregono and other spices in it… The cheese was tasty and not greasy at all. And the meatball topping, not shaved a decent cut and amount on the pizza. A definite.
Garlic knots, this is where I knocked them the 1 star. They were ok. Nothing special…
Was a bit turned off that when I asked how big the large salad was, was told it could feed 2 people. So didn’t try it, maybe next time.
Looking for NY style, try them… Don’t bother with the other places…

I’m pretty picky when it comes to pizza and thankfully, Cary has some good spots for thin-​crust pie. So I was pretty excited to hear about Brothers of NY pizza. Located in a strip plaza with Wake Tech on Kildaire in S. Cary, Brothers doesn’t look like much from the outside. But inside it’s bright, airy and open.
Grab a couple of slices for lunch and drink, options range from $ 6 to $ 7.50 for cheese, pepperoni or specialty slices. That’s one area where Brothers of NY excels, they have 8 to 10 specialty pizzas ready to go by the slice! And how are their slices? A bit thicker for thin crust, crisp and without much grease on top. Plenty of toppings make for a filling meal.
Service at Brothers of NY is pleasant and friendly, nice job there so if you’re looking for pizza and in the area, stop on by! I’m pretty certain you’ll be pleasantly surprised…

Great pizza, staff was friendly and broke down what was on each pizza when bought by the slice. Service was fast and they don’t skimp on the toppings. Price was good and the portion’s were large.
