Brilliant Sky Toys and Books

I love this place! First I love a good local shop, especially one that gives back to the community and offers a competitive rewards program. Everyone in there is so helpful finding you what you need. This is my go-​to for unique children’s gifts.

the store is neat w/​great, unique toys… but make sure you check the price. we got some items that had the manufacturer’s retail price that is usually printed on the item when it’s packaged. there was no brilliant sky price tag, so we were going by that price, esp. since 100% of all the other stores i’ve been to show the store tag a little less in price than ‘suggested retail’. not here, they mark UP over ‘suggested retail’. they wouldn’t even make it right and charge the price tag that was marked on the item.

Great locally owned toy store at Stone Creek Village with really unique toys for infants up to tweens! They have a cool selection of Fashion Angels sketch pads/​portfolios/​stencils, for girls/​tweens that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I got 3 for my 7 year old for Christmas (one with interior house/​room designs, one with tattoo designs, and one with fashion designs (Project Runway!:) and they were a huge hit! They also have lots of games and cool, «smart» toys you don’t see at other places. And the staff is always super friendly and they offer free gift wrap!

Couldn’t agree more with Chip’s review, this place is awesome! I bring my nephews here regularly. They have three big train tables in the back, so we play with the trains and cars there for a while before picking out a toy or book. They also have a lot of other toys out for the kids to play with, even some of the bigger ride-​ons that most stores would never put out for fear of kids running into and damaging things in the store. Cute and free wrapping is a huge plus.
Service is awesome and selection is just as good. They have very unique items, a huge selection given the size of the store and reasonable prices. I’ve seen their coupons in some local pennysaver-​type mailers and they have a rewards program.

Well, I found myself shopping for my «niece’s» (best friend’s niece, but his family is like my extended family) second birthday and went hunting for a local toy store. I didn’t want the mall experience or the big chain store experience… I wanted a small shop but good choice within that space. Looking on here and other places, I found Brilliant Sky and glad I did. It was the perfect toy shopping experience.
Don’t let the pics fool you, sometimes I can be a big ol’ kid, and boy did I have fun at this store. Lots of cool things to look at and try out! I liked the small store feel but they had a great range of wonderful stuff for every age. The staff were very helpful to point me in the right direction for what I needed, keying on the words «2yo girl for birthday» and listening to what her likes were. I found myself right in front of the best section for my needs, servicemeter off the gauge, great job. They even gift wrapped my selections for free as well.
They do have gift certificates, a email list if you want to join, and other goodies that made this store stand out to me. Thanks to the staff and the great selection, I left with my gifts I wanted for the 2yo princess and a smile on my face.
