Best Mexican in the area! Love this place! Other places I have tried in the area are very bland and tasteless, not Bravo’s.

Have eaten here several times and it’s been pretty good. Tried it recently for lunch and not so good. Indifferent service, food appeared to be tossed in the plate and was not too flavorful. A question about our check brought a shrug and comment about the cost of avocados. We aren’t in a hurry to go back

My wife and I decided to go here out of the blue. It didn’t have a high rating but we were hungry and decide just to come. Glad we did! The food was delicious, not authentic but very good. I got the 12″ burrito primavera with chicken and chorizo and the wife got grilled chicken plate. Both were cooked on point and were delicious. Will definitely be going back and trying another dish but I do reccommed going once, you won’t be disappointed.

This place was just okay. We showed up around 12:30 — 1:00 on a Sunday. The place was deserted except for one or two tables who looked like they were finishing up. My husband and I sat and our waiter brought our drinks. We got a few minutes to look at the menu, and it took our waiter about ten minutes to get back with us. While we waited, we had the pleasure of watching someone at the bar yelling and going on about a soccer match on TV. He seemed to be a friend of the employees because they were crowded around watching the game with him as well. Our waiter finally came back and took our orders, and our meal came out in a decent time. Honestly, the food was okay but not memorable. Something you would expect out of a Mexican restaurant. The guac salad in the mini shell was pretty good. Once our food was out however, our waiter disappeared again and we didn’t see him for the rest of the time there. We sat for a while after we finished our food and it was only when another waiter noticed us did he take our empty plates and ask if we wanted refills. In short, food was okay but service was terrible.

Saturday night, steady busy but not slammed– that’s our scene. The service was slow. Like glacial. I showed up at 6:15 and left at 7:30. So, you read that and think«oh, you talked a lot» or «maybe he didn’t order right away» nope, the order was in at 6:25 and got to me about 35 minutes later. I get busy, but they were really not that busy to justify the wait. So why the one star? Mr. Cranky-pants because he had to wait on a Saturday night? Nope. The two stars come from 1) not getting what I ordered(ordered a fried chicken chimi, got a regular one) and the big one showed up about an hour later: food poisoning. Out of our party of three two of us experienced the same symptoms. You know the drill: stabbing cramps and all the joy that comes with them. –1 star for crappy service, –1 for getting my order wrong, and –2 stars for the after-effects. No mas, por favor.

This place is so good! They have a white sauce with complementary chips and salsa that I love. I haven’t gotten one entrée here that I didn’t like. It is very clean and looks nice inside. The staff is very friendly. I’ve also never been in here and had to wait(which is suprising)

Food was bland, and service was awful. The waiter clearly wanted to be anywhere else, and he was annoyed when I told him that my order was wrong(ordered shrimp tacos, got fish tacos). Won’t be back.

I eat here at least once every couple of weeks and think their food is head and shoulders above the rest in the area. They are very quick, and you can get in and out within 30 minutes if you are in a hurry and know what you want to order. The lunch specials are always great and a healthy portion even if you are quite hungry. No complaints from here even after 50+ visits over the past few years. They have 4 – 5 outside tables, which are nice in good weather and unlike some restaurants, this doesn’t slow down the service. Drink specials are also amazing if you are wanting to unwind on the cheap.

This has become my go-to Mexican place. Fast, delicious, cheap, awesome. My favorite dish so far is the Carnitas a la Diabla. The tamales are also great. If you don’t have a lot of time come for lunch and get their lunch special to go, typically under $ 5. They include a bag of chips and salsa with it. More food than you can eat and all delicious.

The enchiladas rancheras I had here were really good. Sides(rice and beans) and chips with salsa are the same as in other mexican restaurants, they were ok, nothing special. Recommend this place. Servers are friendly. Chips salsa could be a lot better(fresh home-made roasted tomato salsa), it’s probably canned/bottled. Portions are big.

Loved the food there. And the portions was large that makes it even better.

My friend and I have been going to Bravo’s quite literally every week for lunch for the past year. Not even kidding, my credit card statements can support this. So you could say we really like the food here because we do — it is pretty good, better than other places we’ve tried. Their lunch specials are pretty cheap and come in large portions. I’m a fan of their shredded beef chimichanga and quesadillas. I also really like the Mexican rice. So here’s why I decided to leave a 2 star review: the management. See, even after eating here often enough that the servers know what we usually get and don’t bother with passing out menus, they’ve started to price their food higher since we took advantage of their $ 2 off pick-2-combo special on Thursdays. We like to get the combo with grilled chicken quesadillas, which they didn’t charge us at first for, but they eventually started to asking an extra $ 1 for each grilled chicken quesadilla. Okay, not a big deal, I’d believe that the grilled chicken costs more than shredded chicken to make. Put that on top of their Thursday special, that just makes the special regular price instead of $ 2 cheaper. We accepted that without a fuss and continued to come here every week, sometimes twice a week and we always tipped. But this Thursday, they decided, rather arbitrarily and without telling us when we ordered, that we can no longer take advantage of the special pick-2-combo price. They charged us FULL price AND the extra $ 2 for the grilled chicken. I had to go up to the cashier and ask, hey, what’s up with this check? It’s Thursday and it’s the daily special. And that’s when they explained it to me: can’t get the daily special price with the grilled chicken. I was a bit shocked, so I didn’t argue the check, though I wish I had since they never breathed a word about it when we were ordering. I admit, I felt a bit embarrassed and cheated. I’m not really sure why they decided to basically say, through the check, that we weren’t welcome there anymore. They’d never shown any signs that they disliked how we asked for grilled chicken quesadillas, even though we paid the extra for it. While I don’t own a small business, from what I understand, most restaurants rely on a stream of regulars, or loyal customers, to keep them in business. My friend and I have brought a lot of business to Bravo’s, but we heard the message loud and clear: they don’t want our business and would prefer that we get our weekly Mexican lunch elsewhere. It may leave a bad taste in my mouth with how they did it, but that’s okay. There are certainly other Mexican restaurants in Cary that we can look for a good lunch special.

I’m always a big fan of their sizzling fajitas. Excellent taste and portion. You can even share it for 2! It comes with beans, rice, salad and taco crepes. Ps: if you love spicy food like I do, ask for their homemade chili sauce! So good

This is a solid choice for lunch or dinner. The food is tasty, the service is fast and friendly, the prices are reasonable, the beer is cold, and the margaritas don’t skimp on the good stuff. We come here often and always leave happy and satisfied, if often a bit fatter. So glad we live nearby this place.

This is a great restaurant. Friendly staff. They always remember us. We especially recommend the Mexican guacamole(tableside), carne asada, and caldo de pollo. It’s our favorite Mexican place and we come here at least once or twice a week.

We came for lunch today and was pleased with today’s visit. I was hungry and got the Enchiladas Supremas, which hit the spot. I could have done without the lettuce and the sour cream on top, but that’s not a big deal. My wife had the lunch special #8, and she enjoyed her chicken quesadilla. The presentation of the extras in the little bowl was a nice touch. My wife’s favorite part of today’s meal was their fried ice cream, made in her words, «Correctly», which does not involve the use of corn flakes. Overall, a pleasant visit. The prices were reasonable. Service was a tad slow, but it was a fairly quiet Sunday afternoon. I wouldn’t mind coming back every once in awhile.

Tried Bravo’s out for dinner last night — it is super close to my house, I actually plan to walk here in the future! This is a pretty standard Mexican restaurant as far as décor, menu and service. We sat outside in the sunshine, which was awesome, and a very efficient server took care of us. Chips and salsa to start — along with a little ramekin of white stuff that I later determined was flavored mayonnaise — ??? I didn’t hate it. Anyway, we ordered a verde burrito with steak and enchilades rancheros with carnitas on top — everything was great! Food came out quickly and was fresh, hot and flavorful, not greasy at all. Mine came with the standard rice and refried beans, which I love. I also enjoyed a $ 3.99 large pour of chardonnay which you cannot beat! I definitely need to come back to try more of the menu and their margaritas — they also had daily drink specials but I was in a wine mood. I will be back asap!

Its at stone’s throw distance from my place so I have been here a couple of times. The food is what you get at any average Mexican restaurant. The good thing is there lunch special prices and quick and attentive service. The salsa and chips seems fresh and margaritas are good.

I was shopping at the staples store next door. I wanted to take some food home so I stopped in to place an order. I was greeted by the host as I came in to the restaurant. I picked up the menu to look at but he took that menu away from me and gave me a paper menu to look at(I thought that was weird but ok…) I looked around and there were only 5 – 6 tables in the dinning room and 4 – 5 people at the bar so I changed my mind and decided to stay to have dinner there. I gave the host his little paper menu back and I went to seat at the bar. Here is where thing got crazy. The bartender was leaning on the counter looking down and texting paying no attention to anyone at the bar. I waited for him to acknowledge me but with no luck, a ticket came in to his printer so he walked right in front of me(not wanting to make eye contact with me) to make the servers drink. He finished with that(only one drink) and he turned around and disappeared into the kitchen. I waited a while and though well if they don’t want my business I can go anywhere else so I left. Walking out I let the host know that the bartenders was texting not paying attention to anyone and now he’s gone from the bar, I got a «oh ok…» from him. There were nobody in charge that I could see so it was useless for me to stay and try to talk to a manager type person. I can spend my dollars at any other restaurant It was very uncomfortable to be ignored and dismissed that way. If they don’t teach their employees the value of each customers and what a big deal it is every time a customer walks out they don’t deserve your money…
