I’m sure you can find some great deals here but don’t bring in your items for consignment. There is a 120 day limit before the items are«donated». You will not be told if/when your items were sold or reminded of pick up before they are donated. I probably brought in $ 500 worth of dresses and never saw a dime. Sent several emails regarding the donation and heard nothing in response. Consignment fee is $ 20 to boot. Great business model — get free stuff from people, charge them to take it and then sell it! Lesson learned.

Annie’s Attic is a typical resale/consignment shop that specializes in upscale items. They do what they do quite well in some respects. Unlike some similar shops, it’s organized and clean and actually employs people who want to help. The staff knows when to leave you alone to look and when to ask if you need help. As I explored, I noted a few things still had the original price tag, and if that was true, it was marked down by at least half. For the most part things are fairly priced, in good condition, and sorted by size. It was a little difficult to figure out the organization at times, at least when it comes to finding some racks that were almost on opposite sides of the store but carrying the same kinds of things. In general, the formal clothes are on one wall and the accessories are on the other. Everything else is in the center. Annie’s Attic is a nice enough store. Maybe it’s the muted color scheme probably trying for elegant, but it ever so slightly seems to trend toward boring. If it weren’t for the bright accessories to draw attention and give you a feel for the quality of what the shop sells, it would be difficult to spend time browsing, especially if you haven’t been here before. And that’s a shame, because there are some good deals here.
