Since moving to North Carolina over 3 years ago, I have been a client of Angie Bridges at A&L Nail Salon. Angie is the best of the best! The only thing that surpasses her talent is her beautiful smile. I’ve never had such beautiful nails and I owe it all to Angie.

Dissapointing experience. Would never go again. I found this place from the internet while searching for good nail technicians. Came across a woman named Angie(I am sure she is a nice person just not a highly qualified nail technician compared to what I am used to) I had high hopes that she would be my new permanent nail person. I was very patient. First time I called she was out for an extended time (no big deal, things come up) then I was told to call a different number to get her. When I finally got a hold of her she sounded most discouraging about getting me in for an appt, She told me how she had people that were on a schedule with her and how hard it was to slip me into her schedule but if I was willing to take an appt at 11:003 weeks from this day she would fit me in. Quoted me the normal rate for a full set of 45 – 55 dollars. I waited till the day and when I walked in she looked at me like … who are you? I explained to her I was her new client appt. She rushed me to a seat to soak my nails. Ok, again, no big deal. I get that people get busy and forget. Everyone was very friendly. She didn’t really seem to know how to do my french tip and asked me how far down to put the white. She put tips on that were not very strong and once the acrylic had put been on top she for some reason couldn’t file the sides of my nails. She said she was having trouble with the sides sticking to the acrylic. Then when all was said and done, I had to pay cash. No ability to pay by card. Ok, again no big deal but when I asked her to tell me the total cost, she wrote it on a post-it and gave it to me. She had written 90 $!! I was thinking… youre kidding, right? I feel like a complete fool for paying. Shame on me for not challenging the cost. I could have not gone back but I have way more integrity than that. I was given a service and needed to pay. However, the cost was ridicoulsly out of range. I was very appalled at the quoted price. Never in my life had I ever paid that much for my nails with the exception of a high-end Four Seasons salon. Which this was NOT. I left and got cash and returned paying her the fee reluctantly. She said she would call me because she couldn’t look at her schedule. I kind of figured I would not hear from her. I did not hear from her, which is perfectly fine since I not only felt liked I had been taken total advantage of on price but was very dissatisfied with end result of nails. My nails lasted all of a week before they started to lift. Went to a new place and got a more typical price and nail work. I’ve been getting my nails done for years in much more metropolitan areas than this and I can tell you from experience I have had much better nails done than this. Lots of way better places to go ladies, in my opinion.
