For Goodness Cakes Bake Shop

Okay, okay had to leave another review for this place! Not only are her cakes amazingly beautiful, her desserts are to die for! Honestly, I was having a super bad day and thought to myself; «what always cheers you up?» Chocolate! So, I took a ride over to For Goodness Cakes and WOW! Was I right! So yummy! Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownie. Yup! To die for!

For Goodness Cakes & Cassie did an amazing job on the cake for the grand opening of Round Table Games — which is also located in Carver Square & is owned by our son, Chris & wife, Candi — Ordering long distance — we live in Florida — is always iffy but the cake was awesome & I’m sorry we did not get to taste it.

This is a nice bakery located in Carver Square, directly across the parking lot from a church that draws a fairly decent bingo crowd where I’m one of the callers. It’s actually owned and operated by one of my sister’s friends. So, one Wednesday before the game, I wandered in there. Everything in the case looked delicious, and I didn’t know what to pick. I finally opted for «cake pops», little cheesecakes on a stick that come in 4 flavors: Cookies & Cream, Tiramisu, Key Lime, and Raspberry. My favorite, was tiramisu. My family’s other favorite is the petit fours. They have cakes, and lots of other pastries to pick from, as well.
Prices are affordable (for example, each cake pop is $ 1.25) if you want to give yourself a little treat after a meal. Staff have always been friendly when I’ve been there.

My husband and I are definitely fans of «For Goodness Cakes.» Every treat we have tried has been exceptional. So far our favorite has been the whoopie pies, salted caramel brownies and baklava. The shop itself is clean, cute and open with a couple of tables to sit. The staff and owner are always very friendly. We love having this gem so close to our new home in Carver!

I special ordered cupcakes and cookies and everything worked out great. I gave some details for what I wanted and they reached out to me with a question or two. The decorations turned out wonderfully — I wish I had taken a few pictures to post.
I so appreciated the shop opening a little early for me to pick up the goodies. I delivered them safe and sound. The staff thought they were delicious and the frosting was not too sweet. I made sure they knew where I ordered them. I am helping someone plan a baby shower and I enthusiastically recommended this shop.
