Everything from themed picnic tables to the playscape were outstanding. The lady behind the information desk gave us activity books for the kids. We will be back!

What a fun place to stop! This is a nice, clean rest stop with plenty of outdoor space. Sidewalks are wide & clean, bathrooms are spacious, there is a family restroom which is a great bonus. There is also a small playground for the kids. The best part of this rest stop are the picnic tables out back. There are 8 or 9 individual picnic tables and each of them are semi-enclosed in cinder block structures. Each is designed as a different stop on Route 66…“Pete’s Garage” «Kevin’s Market» «City Diner». If you find yourself driving on 44W I highly recommend it!

I am pretty impressed by this Rest area in Missouri— has a picnic area like a mini town, roadway. Route 66 style :)

For rest area this is very cool. The whole team is set up around historic route 66 the bathrooms the floor inside the building shows the whole entire route from California to Illinois I believe outside there is a kids playground and the area around it is just beautiful. Vending machines soda machines and too helpful ladies in case you want more information around the area in the Information Center

This is a very well kept rest area. The bathrooms were spotless and the grounds were very nice. Great place to stop and relax for a bit.

Missouri is only second to Wyoming in nice rest areas. It’s good to see the state budget being spent on things other than perks for its elected officials.
