I love WJPF AM1340. The Saturday morning SportsVoice program is the best sports program on the radio. Mike Murphy and Scott Hudson blend high school, college, and professional sports with their own unique mix of commentary and humor. They keep me informed while making me roll with laughter.
In my opinion the thing that makes SportsVoice superior to the other national shows is their knowledge of the history of the local teams and the humor. The syndicated programs are so serious and smug – they think they can do better than the players on the field.
The more serious news programming is also very good and I enjoy the interviews with the movers and shakers in Southern Illinois. Thank you WJPF for all you do.
