Gondolier Pizza

Not good! Dined in on Friday, 5÷13÷2016. We ordered two large pizzas. One came out right, however the 2^nd came out wrong — twice! The one pizza we did receive, tasted like dough was old — yeasty taste. We never did get the 2^nd pizza and they did graciously refund our money for both pizzas. Unfortunately though, this is not first time pizza has not been good. It is too bad because they are either pretty good or really bad — hit or miss. Never really great though.

Fantastic, fast, affordable. Nice staff. My husband thinks it’s the best pizza he’s ever eaten. It sure fed a hankerin for pizza! Y’all come on and feed your belly right!

We’ve been twice because we like other Gondoliers. I was greatly disappointed this tonight. First off, it was hotter than blazes there today. Not sure if they don’t have a/​c today or any day, but we were quite irritated. The bathrooms were in the back and only one-​person bathrooms. I was a bit surprised that a guy walked out of the ladies, but I guess if they are single, it doesn’t matter. There was no soap or paper towels in the ladies bathroom.
My husband ordered the baked Lasagna and I ordered the Manicotti. The salads were good. The bread sticks were hard bottom and chewy outside, but soft & tender inside. No Marinara sauce to dip them in.
The Manicotti was awful. The pasta was really rubbery and the inside (Ricotta and Mozzarella were gritty and tasted like old cheese. The Marinara sauce was not seasoned, just tomato flavor.
My husband got a Mt. Dew, but it was all carbonated water, no syrup. Guess they ran out. A little later, there was a line forming waiting for ice from the soda machine which caused a traffic jam where people picked up their food.
Was not impressed. I really don’t want to return for a third time.

Just excellent! We called an order in and experienced a very upbeat friendly person on the phone who was definitely helpful in assisting us through our first order. Unbeknownst to us and not outlined in their online menu they have three sizes for their pizzas. Also not noted online is the act the pizzas are buy one get one free. The pizza quality was very good. We order four pies all four different flavors every one of them was tasty! We have a bit of drive to this location so we requested a pickup time which they gladly waited for and met. Well will surely be back!!!

What a find in Cartersville. Delicious! Greek Salad and pizza exceeded our expectations and if that’s not enough… grab a cannoli or some cheese cake!

I haven’t tried the pizza (yet) however we ordered a spinach calzone, a meatball calzone, and a ham/​mushroom/​meatball stromboli as well as cannoli’s and a cookie. We always order the same thing wherever we go and the calzones and stromboli was awesome! The dough was perfect, not too hard and flavored great. The ingredients were fresh, and also full of flavor. I felt like the cannoli filling lacked taste but overall was really good.

Stopped here by chance on our way home from vacation. We needed a break from fast food and it was great! No frills but plenty of flavor and good service.

Affordable, great flavour, clean and warm environment. Absolutely love coming here with the family and friends. Pizzas and calzones are probably the best within a 30 mile radius. Big fan, will be coming back frequently.

cheap and good. the pizzas are not the best you’ll ever have, but a nice change from the domino’s and papa john’s of the world, and you get 2 for the price of 1. i never would have expected it, but the gyros here are actually very good. definitely the best gyros i know of in cartersville

Try the steak calzone, it’s pretty amazing. With a side order of french fries it’s more than enough food for two.

Alright pizza nothing to get overly excited about.

I’ve been a patron of the place for years, and I love it. Good Italian, a little Greek, and awesome pizza. Good for take out or eat in.

This is definitely a no-​frills restaurant. Food is served on paper plates, there are no servers and you get your own drinks, but the prices are super low and you can’t beat it for a quick, satisfying bite.
Most importantly, the pizza ROCKS! The buy one, get one deal is really nice too.
I love this place.
