Washington Cutters

I came from Orlando FL to a family gathering and I desperately needed a haircut so I started looking on line and found Washington Cutters. I made an appointment on their website with Gustavo at 12:00pm. As soon as I walked in to Washington Cutters at 11:55am Gustavo was waiting for me. I felt an amazing environment, clean, simple, organized and very friendly. Gustavo’s patience & creativity with the haircut that I wanted was really good. The guys thoughtfully created an environment which challenges their guests to define their creativity and their clientele. I’m already well on my way to recommend Washington Cutters and their services as much as I can. Amazing Experience!

Haven’t had a haircut this good in two years period as my hair went from down and bulky to swept back and smooth. Perfect fade on the sides and got a impeccable beard trim and line up. The straight razor line ups are also the smoothest and most comfortable i’ve ever had. I cant believe this place is in Carteret!

I’m not one to review a barbershop, but in this case I felt the need to share how good of an experience this place is. Besides having a friendly staff, the place has a cool nostalgic feel to it that makes you feel welcome and relaxed. My personal barber (Jeff) never disappoints. He’s got a vast array of skills in the hair business that he often shares with his coworkers and obviously shows in his own work. The cut, shave, style service is hands down the best. It involves a no rush haircut and shave process, using only the industries best shave creams, lotions etc… all in all its a chill place with an ambiance that invites you back unknowingly. Check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed

This place is the real deal. A classy NYC spot that’s local and affordable. Great atmosphere, professional barbers and products. They use all salon quality hair care products and have licensed barbers who have been in the game for years. I’ve had 3 barbers my whole life, because I’m skeptical of the quality. I found this guy and I haven’t looked back since. I wish there were more of these places around! 5 stars!!!

Terrible! So it turned out the day I had went in for a haircut and they had notified me that the barbers went home early (3 hours before closing), the barber was actually the one saying this to me. He straight out lied so he wouldn’t have to cut my hair. How do I know this? The next day when I came back, I saw him there cutting someone else’s hair! It gets worse from here. The person that cut my hair didn’t even listen to what I wanted and just ended up giving me a haircut that was quick and easy. Miles away from what I wanted. He was brushing the comb so hard and fast in my hair that I actually was in pain! I am going somewhere else. Another problem with these youngsters is not taking business seriously. Re-​instating to one star rating! Maybe if they would get grills out of their mouth, stop txting while cutting hair, cursing, pulled their pants up and actually followed the given hours of operation, this business would actually become a hit.

My boyfriend comes here for a cut and they always do an excellent job. The ambience is very hip and nice. I love the décor. They have a comfortable waiting area where I sit while he gets a cut.

Son of a B! I have never had a barber pay more attention to every detail. This place is amazing.
If I could I would get my hair cut here until I die.
And if I can’t I would crawl from my grave to this shop to get my hair cut.
