I stopped by this store and was unable to find a pair of pants for my toddler who just messed his but I had to write a review because of all the bad ones. The Staff Was Extremely Nice, Greeted Me When I arrived, Helped Me try to Find My Item And Said Goodbye When I left. They were very friendly and very busy.

We stopped in just to see what we could find and we ended up getting an oil painting($ 4.50), brand new high heels($ 6), and 3 CDs($ 3.00 = $ 1.00/each). There is a lot of stuff in store, it’s fairly organized, and it goes to a good cause! Great little place!

This is a real, old-fashioned thrift shop. It’s kind of old and frumpy and the building definitely needs some major plastic(or more extensive) surgery. The stock varies from visit to visit of course. I’ve found some great diamonds in the rough here — from leather belts for $ 1 to wool sweaters to ski equipment to wonderful, old classic books. It’s my favorite in the area and the prices are the best around. Happy thrifting!

Pit stopped at this thrift store on the way to Lake Tahoe with Emily T. This store has a very quaint, small town feel to it. The merchandise actually feels like old treasure, rather than someone’s unwanted junk that they dropped off at a local Goodwill to be rid of it. Prices are very reasonable. I saw many pieces that i would love to own but really have no use for, such as an amazing amber glass lamp($ 3) and a pair of gloriously funky-cool glasses with intricate metal detailing(75 cents). I rummaged through bags and spent quite a bit of time on the belts as well. The belt selection was a dream come true, filled with old belts with fascinating buckles, the likes of which I have not seen before. I ended up leaving with two belts, one with a to-die for gold lion head buckle, and a classic brown belt made of buttery soft leather. I also purchased a small chestnut brown faux leather satchel and an antique gold metal necklace. Grand total — $ 4.75. What a steal! Also of note, we randomly arrived here on the first Tuesday of the month and were informed that it was half off everything in the store. So if you’re going to come visit, make a note!

While I agree with the other reviews that the staff did not seem friendly, I did encounter an old man who worked here that was really really delightful. I was admiring a giant teddy bear and he kindly told me there was another one in the back similar. He brought it out to show me too! Anyways, a friend and I were on our way up to Tahoe. My friend saw a sign for Apple Hill and commented that it sounded like an interesting place. I was just ecstatic because I was just moments from asking her if she wanted to detour and adventure around Apple Hill because I LOVE it there. We saw signs for a thrift store and decided to follow until we found it. It was very shady looking and I was positive that I would not find anything I would like in here. Sure enough, I flipped through the racks of clothes and found an abundance of matronly-looking clothes. But that was just one room. This place is huge. Though I did not make it out of Snowline with much, I did find myself enjoying the window shopping. They have clothes, accessories, furniture, toys, books, vinyl records, cute nick nacks, jewelry, etc. They have everything. And everything is so neat to look. I was tempted to buy an old sewing machine until my friend pointed out the«As-is» sticker. We also found an old saxophone. So, my winnings of the day were 2 belts and a large, floppy hat. It rang up to a grand total of $ 1.65. I was baffled that I got 3 items, gave the cashier $ 2, and got change back. AMAZING!!! Basically, belts are all 50 cents and hats are $ 1.50. We just so happened to walk into the store on the first Tuesday of the month in which everything is half off. Next time I head up to Tahoe, this will definitely be another detour to make!

Staff at this place not friendly. Tacky sign says«no public restroom». We were customers, bought merchandise and when I asked to use the restroom was refused even though we made a purchase. What are these people thinking. Prices are fare for a thrift store, but there are other stores in the area, go to them.

Very disinterested people working in this Thrift store… so much so, I felt like they did not want me in their store to buy anything. The prices were fair and some of the furniture they had was a good shape, but the feeling I got from walking around the store made me want to run for the door. Bottom line, go somwhere else like a winery when you visit Camino… Apple Hill or a Winery… skip this place.
