Robert S Reiner, OD – Carson Optometry

I live around the corner of this place.
My sister has been going to Dr. Reiner for over 10yrs. He discovered she had Keratoconus at age 24. He has treated her and was very patient and kind through out the years of her eye disorder progressing. She is now 38.
On Valentines Day I took my BF to Lenscrafters in Lakewood Mall for an eye exam and some frames. They told us my BF also had Keratoconus. He was very frightened as he has never heard of such a thing.
I decided to go to Dr. Reiner. A specialized doctor who treated my sister for years and knew what was doing.
We made an appointment. Dr. Reiner knew my sister very well when I mentioned her name. He finished my BF’s eye exam and concluded he did NOT have Keratoconus but he had a Stigmatisim.
Needless to say we were very releived. We were very happy with Dr. Reiner being SO thorough. he not only explained but also demonstrated the different types of Stigmatism.
Staff all around is very courteous.
Office could be in better shape with new furnature or glasses shelf but that is the LEAST of your concern when you are getting A+ treatment and care.

i’ve come here for about 12 years now. i wouldn’t go anywhere else. even the staff has stayed the same throughout the years (atleast the receptionists). everyone is pretty nice and your eye exams are done really fast and you can take as long as you want to pick out new frames. the receptionists and assistants will even bring out pairs that they think will look nice on you or that you might like. they do have designer frames as well if anyone is wondering.

Been going there for over 15 years and now I take my kids. Excellent service, Dr. Reiner is also very patient with the kids!!!
